What had happened to all of them? Where had they all gone? Sure, she was aware that Kastiel and Torio had gone off on some adventure with another pack member, a young one at that. What was his name again? Bear, she believed. However, though they were gone, that did not explain the absence of the other two, Haze and Valmai. She was not aware of where they had gone and, honestly, she missed their company. Now she was alone in this vast land known as Shiya, her pack's territory. She knew she could not defend it herself, but she would try her best to do so while her Alpha and Beta were away. She was sad, though, having Haze gone. She had just vanished, no trace left behind. She had been looking forward to training her how to fight, especially after meeting her in the cave with the beautiful water with Kastiel.
When Spirit's thoughts crossed over Kastiel, she wondered how her alpha and beta were doing on their journey. This was no business of hers, but she could only hope that they would return to, especially because of how lonely she had been feeling. She wanted company, as she seemed to be the only one of Airila left right about now. She wondered if her packmates would ever return, Valmai and Haze and Torio and Kastiel. She felt alone sitting in the dark forest as she was now, listening to the whispers of the wind in the trees that surrounded her. It was haunting, being alone as she was, and she couldn't help but feel like she was a loner again. Her black fur stood on end as she thought of this. She loved this pack and this land, and she would remain faithful. She wouldn't leave until her leaders came back.
Her silverish chest fluffed out against the cold breeze of late afternoon, and she kept her reddish-brown paws tucked beneath her. Her golden eyes scanned the forest carefully, waiting for something to jump out of the bushes and the darkness to attack her. Spirit had remarked the borders day after day, traveling along the rather immense territory of her pack to keep it safe and clearly state to anyone that decided to come near the pack's lands that they belonged to her. Well, not to her, but to her pack. It just seemed like they belonged to her, seeing as she had not picked up any other pack member's scent in awhile. Her tail wrapped around her body as she laid there, leaning against a tree trunk. The territory had appeared large because she was alone and the territory seemed hers because she was alone.
Spirit swallowed the lump in her throat, praying for her pack to come home.
