The red wolf had to take some time to herself. After the encounter with Kallik, she needed to breath and set her thoughts out. The fae took a deep breath as she approached the place that wolves call "Kalus's point." it looked like humans had lived here long, long ago. It looked like some kind of broken down stand. She laughed a bit at the stupidity of humans. Why would they make a broken stand?Or a stand that would break easily? They were so stupid. If wolves built it then, it would still be standing. She was experiencing something that she rarely felt. She was feeling her own thoughts. She rarely got to hear herself because the voice in her head was so talkitive. It just talked and talked. It never seemed to listen to her.
She had originally joined the pack to get help from a family to try to get rid of the voice but now, she was thinking that she didn't really want to get rid of it. It was her best friend. It talked to her, helped her hunt, told her the future and was always there. Unlike many of the wolves that she had been with in the past. She tried to hide her voice from other wolves because whenever they found out, she was outcast. She wasn't entirely sure if everyone had a voice or if it was just her. When other wolves found out about her voice she felt as if she was the only one but, most other times she was convinced that everyone else had one too.
It was indeed very nice here. It was peaceful. Nothing was attempting to kill her and no one was threatening her. She felt relaxed here in this land and here in this place. She sat on the ground and stared at the broken stand. Her shoulders were relaxed and her tail was still. Her anxiety was low and she was happy. A small smile crawled on her face, causing her lips to curl slightly. She wondered if another pack member would join her or, if a loner would or, if she would just be left in peace. She hoped a loner wouldn't show up. What would she do? Would she call for Akihra? She didn't know and the thought of that happening was beginning to make her anxiety level rise. What if a member from another pack came? Then what would she do? The thoughts were worming around in her brain and it scared her. The possibility of doing something wrong was so great. She tried to do some breathing exercises to try to calm herself but nothing was working. She had expected this visit to be pleasant but, it was turning out ot be very stressful
The Arabian wolf, by the name of Munir, was padding along the area that he had heard tales call it “Klaus’s Point”. However he could never really understand why but he would just go along with it and would believe what the others in the area around him would say. He padded along still until he caught the distinguishable smell of another wolf nearby. He could tell since it didn’t smell like any prey that he had ever encountered and it definitely smelled as if it was like himself. He would then begin to follow his nose towards the scent not really worrying about whether it was friendly or hostile. Finally the voice in his head kicked in and began to speak to him. Well what would you do if it was hostile smart one who ever it is probably is bigger than you are?“Well I will really hope not to get into combat with the enemy and if it becomes inevitable than I will try my hardest to fight.” He was having an odd conversation with himself that others would find unintelligible and completely crazy. The voice would continue to speak to him asking him questions that he really wished wouldn’t happen. His muzzle had wrinkles of his rapid aging caused by his loner style and complete lack self-preservation. He would finally reach to where the smell was coming from and he looked up at the wolf and noticed that the wolf was a feminine one. At that point he then would come up behind her and would sit far away to keep a safe distance but close enough that she would find out he was there. He would looked over to her and would catch the hint that she was suffering from high anxiety and he decided that he would try to use this to teach her about the truth of the world if she didn’t already know it. He would continue to sit there watching her every move and then finally would decide to speak out and make his presence known if it wasn’t already known. He would clear his throat and then said. “Well Hello there .”
Her anxiety did have one advantage. It gave her heightened senses. She smelled a wolf fairly far behind her. A male. This was her worst fear. Exactly what she didn't want to happen. What was she to do. Oh how she wished her voice would help her. She spun around on her hind leg to look the wolf in the eyes. It was an Arabian. She hadn't seen many of that breed but, she hadn't seen much of any breed except the Mackenzie Valley wolves that seemed to dominate the island. He spoke to her. He sounded friendly enough but then again, so did Kallik until she threatened her.
There was no scent of any pack on the male which worried her more. Was he here to kill her? Was he here because Kallik sent him? Was he after Akihra? She had no idea. Her mind raced with different things to do about the intruder. This was so stressful. She had been a part of the pack for a few days and she was already being tested by this male. Maybe Akihra sent him to test her. To see if she was a good member or not. She was determined to pass the test. Nothing was going to make her give up her new found family.Hello her voice shook I am Avonlea, subordinate of Haishin. it was the same form that Akihra had used for her when she had first joined. There could be nothing wrong with that, could there be? She laid her ears back in caution. Her voice was no where to be heard. It had left her--for now. A part of her was glad that it had not spoken to her but, another part wished that it would help her or tell her something. Were you sent by someone? Can I help you with something? Are you lost? She asked him many questions at the same time, not knowing which one to use so, she just used them all. Better to get all of the answers at once. Her voice was still unsure about what to do. Should she call for Akihra? Would she be mad for not calling sooner? So many questions. She wished that there would have been a training session or something to tell her what to do in these types of situations. Perhaps there would be in the future because of this. But, she didn't know if she wanted that or not. It would be good for her so she would know what to do next time but also, embarrassing because she had been the first wolf to need it. you stupid mutt. Your messing up this whole situation. Akihra is going to be so mad at you. You better fix this now. The voice scolded her. At first she was happy to hear it. It was her security blanket. But then, the meaning if it's words sunk in. She was messing things up and she needed to fix them. But how? She wished the voice would be more specific when it came to things like this. It had a tendency to tell her what to do but not how to do it. She rarely spoke back to the voice because it would fade away before she got a chance to reply out loud. It just left her with her thoughts.
Before the male sat down and began to speak he could tell that the female had sensed he presence either by his smell or by hearing how he was walking but no matter how it happened he would tell that she wasn’t very happy about the situation. Once the word ‘Hello there’ left his muzzle he continued to watch the females posture and stance to find out what she was thinking before she could even get it out of her muzzle . He was calculating what her sentences and questions were going to be and wasn’t quite sure when they would come to him.
After a small silence he caught the voice of the female and listened intuitively and would soak in her first sentence and would grumble a bit to himself about how she was part of a pack and how that he didn’t believe that it was nessisary to have the other wolves around when he got around fine without them. He had a small anecdote to himself and then looked up and finally got around to actually speaking. “Oh I see… I am Munir…. A loner is what they usually call me but I call myself a missionary of sorts.” He would then wait for a reply but he got more questions. He took the questions with great stride and would then formulate answers to them that would probably satisfy the wants of the female. “No miss I was not sent by anyone I came of my own free will and the directions of the stars.” To her second questions his answer continued. “All I wish to be helped with is someone to listen to and for them to have the courtesy to listen in return.” Finally to her last question he answered very vaguely. “Well…… sort of.”
Munir was never really the sort of wolf that likes to tell his business to others and is usually as slightly awkward person to talk to and will not always answer your questions. However he was being as forward in his answering of the questions, as he usually ever was before and he didn’t have any real reason of why.
He watched her intently and could tell that her mind was having a completely other conversation of the present time and he knew that feeling all too well. So he decided that he would be patient with the female and wait for her to answer or poste questions because she seemed to be having a hard time with whatever was going on within herself.
The male had introduced himself as Munir and that he was a loner but, was more like a missionary. She had never met a missionary before and it interested her as to what it actually was. Missionary? What do you do as a missionary? She knew that some missionaries preached religion and others preached revolution but, she didn't see the need for either of those here in Haishin. As far as she knew, everything here was fine and dandy. Other than Kallik who wanted to kill her of course. But, Akihra was a good leader. She was kind, fair, generous, noble and everything else a good leader should be. Why would they need religion or revolution here? Perhaps there were things going on that she did not know about.
Munir said that he was not sent here by anyone but that he followed the stars. Very interesting. Maybe she was thinking of the wrong kind of missionary. Maybe he meant that he was on some kind of mission to do something; though, she didn't know what. He also said that he was looking for someone to listen to and for someone to listen to him. Oh, so your looking for a friend? She cocked her head in curiosity. Not many wolves walked around looking for friends. If you want someone to talk to then you can talk to me if you want. Her offer was sincere at the moment. She had nothing better to do and the male seemed like a none threatening fellow. She had relaxed quite a bit since he had spoken back to her and her voice was much more steady now.
He had said that she could sort of help him. She didn't know how to sort of help somebody. In her opinion, one was either helping or hurting. There was no grey area in her mind. That was what the voice had always told her anyways. The voice had sort of raised her and she often wondered if getting rid of it was what she truly wanted. Sometimes the answer was yes and sometimes the answer was no. She would have awful trouble with this question whenever she thought about it. The voice rarely brought it up though. It seemed that it wanted to have her forget about it but, the thought came into her mind every so often nonetheless.
He would watch the female closely taking in all of her movements as an indication of feelings and ideas. He would listen to her intuitively and once she asked him what he did as a missionary he was slightly taken aback by the question posed to him. He was wondering to himself what kind of answer he should give and then he decided that he was going to go against his natural instinct and would give a direct answer that may surprise her some. “Well I am on a mission to show people the path and my hope of them to follow it and also the mission to gather knowledge from all over the world. “
When she asked him if he was really just looking for a friend he thought about it for a second weighing if it was beneficial to him to have a friend or not and he decided that it was logical and the just choice. “Well… Yes I would say that I am looking for a ….. Friend” He would look at her in wonder as she was continuing to talk to him through his tangents on random things and things that probably don’t make sense to her.
The female surprised him a lot now that she had offered to talk to him for a conversation and would be actively engaged in it and not just sitting there as other were or even how the others that he had spoken to became violent and didn’t wish to take in his teachings. He would look at her and would give her a toothy grin. “That would be greatly appreciated as I haven’t really had a conversation with anyone for a long time.”
However his fun was cut short as the ever present voice in his mind was telling him that this was a bad idea and that if he couldn’t get detached from having a friend how is he going to continue on his so called mission of salvation or whatever the voice liked to call it. He always had mixed feelings about the voice but at the moment it annoyed him and he whispered to himself “Shut up. I’m trying to talk”
Avonlea listened to the male as he told her that he was on a mission to "show people the path to knowledge" or at least that's what she thought he meant. But, why would they need knowledge here in Haishin territory? Akihra was smart and talented at being the alphess here. She had done nothing that would show that she needed knowledge, had she? Avonlea began to get concerned. What if Akihra was not the kind leader that she had once thought she was? What is she was cruel? It couldn't be. Akihra had let her into her pack without one single question of her past or anything else. But, she did allow Kallik to threaten her. Avonlea couldn't make up her mind tight now. She was so confused about everything. Was everything she knew a lie? Quit thinking so hard you stupid mutt. He's just a passer by. He means nothing to Akihra or the pack. The voice spit at the word pack. It had tried to get her to leave ever since she arrived. It spoke to her often about leaving but, she remained strong and during those times and remained here in the lands.
Munir said that he was indeed looking for a friend though, he seemed hesitant to admit it. What was she worried about? He was looking for a friend and what could be less harmless than that? Nothing. She gave him a warm look and then she sat to show him that she was ready to listen to him. Well, I don't have anything to do so, if you want to, talk away. She smiled as warmly as she could. Maybe he was sent here on purpose and she was going to help him or something. It could happen right? He did say that he was a missionary so, she saw no reason why he couldn't have been sent here by a higher power on purpose for a specific reason. She only hoped that he wouldn't turn the conversation around and ask her to talk about herself.
((OOC: sorry this took so long..I've been running a little low on muse for her))
