It had been several days since the large canine had arrived upon the island with his beloved pet. He had snatched the opportunity to search the island as thoroughly as possible, waiting for the sign he needed to claim it. By now the brute had grown quite impatient with his leader, for they required a home immediately. Stability need to be established alongside a gathering for the rest of the pack, whoever that may include for now. Certainly, Belial had stumbled across many loners in his travels; unfortunately, few seemed to be worth his time and efforts. At least the brute could reassure himself about Ahri, of course there had been that odd persona switch; yet, he was satisfied with the femme as a whole. Fenrir had not failed him even when it came to finding his queen, what would cause a lag now?
Shaking his head slowly, the brute's frigid gaze darted upwards. A lone star twinkled in the ebony waves above, a piece of his soul swelled. 'Follow it fool,' a near snarl resonated within him, coaxing his massive silhouette to press forward. The initial location was unknown, but Belial had learned enough to know that each sign needed to be followed immediately. He would not permit the deity to believe him undeserving of the heavenly land. Such power would not be laid before blasphemous paws, his were still moving forward. So far, the Kenai brute had satisfied those above; now he would be snatching his reward. He prayed that Ahri was still safe, that he has not missed a canine here. If something had happened to his bitch, then this world would see a true hell. The brute was not willing to negotiate with those that stole from him, that included laying even a gaze upon his property.
The future Alpha cared little for what others may believe about his relationship with the female. Sure, it was not one built upon pure love; there was something much more cynical to it. His initial joining with the femme had been his action. He had stolen what he wanted, chased the demons away from his queen, perhaps in the future she would fall for him in the same way. Not that he would ever be needing rescued, especially not be a female. Yet, if Ahri had those thoughts and such associated emotions, then the brute would know she cared for him. Pride blocked the brute from admitting the soft part of his heart that she resided in, she was the only femme he had dared to speak of holding a future with. But, that was likely of little importance to Ahri.
It was then that his sapphire optics landed upon the wondrous waterfall. The glittering star seemed elegantly placed right above the landmark. This was where the rightful claim upon Ina'mos was to be made. The fog had lifted tonight, an event that had intrigued Belial from the beginning - it was now apparent why this specific night was so clear. The moon cast an eerie glow upon the falls and all surrounding them. A silver gleam seemed to be radiating from his pelt due to this light. A new life seemed to grow inside of him, his chest tightening with each eager breath. All these years and passed, but Belial had patiently awaited the downfall of the others. Each year had brought about a new wave of impatience for when he would come to power. The moon's high seat above called to the brute, almost announced the future that was about to be made. Nothing would devour this moment in beauty and importance.
Positioning himself beneath the moon, the brute stared into the darkness before him. Bits of silver were illuminating the terrain, but Belial was still alone for now. He hoped that more would come when he howled, that there would be others to join them. And if there were not, then he would have to simply go and find them himself. A low growl escaped his muzzle, as if he wished to exercise his vocals before the bellowing howl rang out. A satisfied grin slipped upon his facial features, there was something within this moment that gave him a sensation of absolute power. In this second before calling out, he was immortal. Worldly concerns no longer plagued him, his thoughts were in sync with infinity.
Muzzle lifted itself as close to the moon as possible, with a sharp breath the brute called out. The sound brutally caught the chilled night air, piercing it with a wave of dominance. Even mother nature could not control him, his authority over these lands was undeniable. "Assemble canines, for these lands belong to Ferus. Those within will find divine perfection," his song trailed away, allowing complete silence to consume the air once again. The disruption had been sudden, even his own audits found it creepy to hear nothingness once more. The falling water seemed to make no sound to the brute anymore, only the pulsing of his heart could be heard inside of his skull. 'Let us see who all arrives,' frozen orbs searched the area, awaiting his female's arrival.
