Wren had been a loner for quite some time now. It wasn't as if she was itching to throw herself into a pack, but as a detached soul, her nature prevented her from openly approaching a pack, especially in the dead of night. It certainly was a foreign type of greeting, but being a loner in such hostile territory was not a desirable position. Residing with one of the less strict packs would conform to her demeanor more comfortably than any of the other packs around here, and thus she chose Airila. Her paws carried her noiselessly through the frosted territory, with her ears perked rigidly for any signs of a pack member. She would only go to the border of the territory out of respect, for she knew the rules of a pack. Going beyond these distinct borders could result in punishment, even if she anticipated the reprimand to be rather light. The wolfess swiftly loped through the snow-covered earth, winding through the trees and carrying herself with a sense of neutrality. She didn't want to seem too confident or too submissive, so something in between was ultimately necessary. If anything, the female hoped to prove to be a functional, valuable member to this pack. If not, continuous wandering would be her final resort, although reverting back to her loner ways weren't what she was seeking.
The scent of pack territory wafted distinctly into Wren's nostrils as she approached a point where the trees seemed to part. This must be where Airila's borders are.. I suppose I should summon one of their members, she thought, but calling out into the eerie nighttime seemed unusual. It's not as if she'd be as active during the day, and the soft moonbeams of night calmed her nerves. Her vampiric attribute was something to be dealt with, but the girl had no intention on changing it. And her obsession with graveyards and death seemed a bit unnerving as well, but things happened. She hoped that while in this pack, she could witness some sort of death as a studying opportunity. A creepy motive, but a motive nonetheless. She wanted to experience the event through non-traumatic means, and this meant watching an animal die. Her mysterious attitude wracked her mind and kept her thoughts busy, as usual, but this wouldn't stop her from requesting the presence of an Airlia member. She inhaled deeply, before emitting a long, uncanny howl. It's volume was just loud enough to pierce the ears of an onlooking pack member, but only just enough to satisfy this need. She wasn't a loud female, and she didn't intend to speak very much. There was no point to making her summon more prominent than it already was. The creepy girl then stood utterly still, complete silence enveloping her. A calming sensation. Her beautiful, soft iris' scanned the area for any sign of life.. If a wolf would bother to show.
While she waited for the member to arrive, she rested her hindquarters onto the ground, becoming bored with this scene. There was nothing to investigate, no corpses to sift through and nowhere to connect with any spiritual beings.. It was always interesting to listen to the souls cry out in anguish for a savior, forever damned to searching for their God. The white wolf then decided to look to her own body for exploration. That odd obsession of hers kicked in immediately, and glancing around, she quickly slit a scrape on the back of her foreleg with her dull claws, watching the miniscule amount of blood trickle down. The only reason her stubby claws could do this was because she hit a veins, slicing it open and watching this fluid spill freely. She swiftly craned down her neck and lapped up the scarlet fluid, tasting the metallic tang to the substance with an allegedly innocent curiosity. Wren knew that a wolf wasn't close by, and having the rare opportunity to do this was perfect. After cleaning her self-inflicted wound, she stood, brushing off the snow form her rump with a light shake. When the Airlia member arrived, they would suspect nothing of her queer behavior, not being able to witness it themselves.
