It had been far too long since the black wolf killed. Far. Too. Long. The lust for blood that she could usually keep pushed down ate away hungrily at her mind. She wanted, needed, craved, blood. She could taste it in her head despite her mouth being dry as a desert. She wanted to make another wolf scream, cry, wince, whimper, cringe under her cruel mercy. She had recently had too many close calls with wolves, let too many get away alive. Each one that she watched walk...or run away got to her more and more. The next wolf she saw would not be so lucky. Rather it was a male, female, young, or old, the next wolf she laid her orange eyes on would suffer under her. She snarled demonicly and hungrily, enough was enough.
Rain poured around her, completely soaking everything within seconds from the first drop. Thunder rolled through the sky, screaming warnings for all the wolves to hear. "Go hide, hide for your lives, do not be seen or be killed," Xion could hear it say, sending dark chills down her spine. If only they actually knew what waited for them. Lighting flashed and crackled, illuminating her dark pelt. Despite getting soaked, Xion rather liked this weather. It was like a reflection of herself, and she stalked through the rain with an eerie determination. The river beside her rushed and flooded in the storm, racing over rocks downhill, the opposite direction than she walked beside it. She had caught the scent of one or maybe two wolves by the water but they had faded in the storm so she had no clue who they were. All she knew was that they were definitely around somewhere. She assumed they were hiding like the cowards she was sure they were and that it would not be easy to find them. The search had begun.
She started searching for them in any places that they could hide. Under shrubs, in little clearings, and anywhere else she could find. She even looked on both sides of the river. The longer it took to find them, the more her dark side crept out. Her eyes seemed darker, her size buffer, her fur stood on end and her lips curled, revealing her pearly white fangs that waited impatiently to be stained crimson red. "Wherever you are, I will find you and I will kill you," she snarled aloud, her voice raging above the storm, no longer sounding like her own.
