Olive wasn't your ordinary wolf, she had never been quite there in the head. She had always been considered a very beautiful young femme growing up but looks could be deceiving. Being a pure Mexican wolf she wasn't very big in size, at only twenty six inches high and seventy five pounds she seemed like a runt in comparison to half the other wolves she had come across. But Olive could be quite the little fireball, and any forms of disrespect did not go over easily with her. She had an aggressive side to her that almost always reared it's ugly head, especially in the presence of others. The majority of the time she had no warning of when these outbursts of rage would occur, but they always did. Living on the plains of Africa with her parents had made it easy for her to adapt, but ever since leaving them she had not seen a single wolf of her kind. She had heard rumors of a horrid fire that had broke out across the plains not long after she had abandoned them; and it seemed that all signs of her kind had vanished. She held little hope for seeing another that looked like her, but it didn't matter anyways. She had always been a man hater from the very beginning. Her mother had not allowed her to have a relationship with her father resulting in her natural bitterness toward any male she saw. The terrain had shifted over time, going from solid ground to now sand beneath her paws. The sand was hot, as was the air around her, despite the fact of it being winter. This was the kind of climate she was accustomed to and although she panted lightly she was used to the hotter weather.
Her multihued pelt allowed her to blend in nicely with the desert scenery, though it didn't take long for a coyote to notice her, or better yet, for her to notice him. He had managed to catch and kill a snake and had only had a few bites out of it. Being that she hadn't had a meal in days she was prepared to take it from him. Her tail arched behind her back, her auds pricked forward and her hackles raised. Even this coyote would recognize this as a purely dominant stance but he wasn't going to give up his meal without a fight. A set of growls rumbled from his larynx which Olive returned with a sharp snarl, her canines exposed as her lips peeled back. Thanks for catching my dinner. She snapped before leaping toward him, her jaws spread and aiming to clamp down on one of his front legs. A yelp erupted from him though he was quick to grab a hold of her scruff. She snarled and released him only to clip his ear though not before their jaws clashed together. Without hesitation she flung her body forwards until she trapped him beneath her, her hackles completely on end and her bloodied canines exposed to his throat.
Notes: First post with her, hope it's not too horrid
