Health Issues: Oculocutaneous Albinism (OCA). Lacking pigment in her skin, lips, nose, eyes and everything else. Cannot see well in bright sunlight. Has Ursuphobia [fear of bears], Thanatophobia [fear of death], and PTSD triggered by bears and death of loved ones. She enters in a state of panic, hyperventilation, shaking, and may even pass out in exhaustion.

Mental Stability: Unstable with sane moments.
History: A beautiful love story unfolded between two hearts--a silvery white male named Kismet fell in love and mated with the multi-hued Inaya. It was a beautiful relationship that blossomed from the heart of love itself, and Inaya became incredibly happy after years of crippling depression, anxiety and self-hate. Slowly, Kismet found a way into the small female's broken heart, and soon figured out how to fix what was already broken. One day, her belly began to grow, so it signaled that pups were coming soon. When the due date came, the two of them received the product of their love with tears and joy; Kamikaze, Malachi, Adeline... but one stood out--her pelt was white as snow, and her eyes, nose and lips were pink. She was a beauty and a very unique one indeed, so they picked out the best-fitting name for her, Kayi, which meant snow. The pups grew in size and in personality, and their family was as close as it could ever be. Kismet was stern but incredibly loving, and Inaya was an amazing mother, treating her pups with love and tender guidance. Occasionally, the pups would go away with Uncle Kenai and Aunt Sydas to have fun so that the couple would have some private time. Their life was perfect, and Kayi was beginning to be quite the specimen. She was clumsy, especially in the bright sunny days of summer, but her brother Kamikaze was always by her side. They soon began to form a close relationship; since he was the runt and she was an albino, they were unique in a way. Kayi's personality began to blossom even more, being quiet but spontaneous, gentle and kind, but brave, with a heart of a strong wolf. The two were inseparable, but their happy family would soon encounter fate when they least expected it.
One day, their father was out hunting, while their mother was teaching them how to scavenge. Their mother had learned a few tricks of choosing herbs. As they learned about what berries to eat and what berries should be avoided, a heart-stopping growl was heard. In just a blur of a second, the source of the sound revealed itself--a giant bear appeared out of nowhere, growling and screaming at them with every step. Kayi quickly ran behind her mother, but after noticing that the bear was coming for her, she ran away from Inaya to the opposite side. Her body was trembling, and her body began show signs of hyperventilation; it got even worse when she heard a loud cracking noise from behind her. When Kayi looked to where her mother was, she saw the image that still haunts her to this day--the body of her dead mother, filled with blood, with tears coming from her eyes. Kayi screamed to the top of her lungs, tears screaming down from her face and hysteria taking over her. The bear, who was big, seemed even bigger by her immediate fear. His father came to the scene, face filled with rage and fury, and lunged at the bear, attempting to kill the demon that had murdered the love of his life. Kayi saw how his father fell down in exhaustion, and how the bear began to approach him. The snow-white wolf ran away as quickly as she could, screaming her sibling's names to the top of her lungs. She had no idea if any of them survived. Malachi? He was the most likely survivor. He had the skills to fight, so maybe he had a better chance. Adeline? Also likely, she was very good at everything she set her mind into. Kamikaze... her heart ached for him. She knew how vulnerable he was, really. She was determined to find him, so after days of searching and loosing his scent, she gave up. He was probably dead, just like the rest of her family. But her hope is still shining through, no matter what.
Her mind began to fracture, and slowly she became a ghost of her mother. Nightmares, depression, crippling anxiety and phobias began to crawl to her mind. She jumped at every shadow, at every movement that signaled immediate danger. She felt vulnerable, afraid and deeply longed for protection. She now wanders around Anikira in desperate search for any surviving sibling, but she feels that Kamikaze is out there somewhere. She desires to overcome her struggles and traumas, and wants to be made stronger again. Kayi desires to be the playful, clumsy pup she was when she was much younger and she will do anything to gain that strength back. Even if she feels vulnerable now, she is still very determined, so she will do everything that is necessary in order to feel safe, secure, and herself again.
Personality: Kayi is very quiet, and many think of her as mute until she decides to open her mouth to talk. She is depressed and very fearful, but she is very determined and actually believes in hope. She desires to find happiness again. Kayi is observant, pessimist and naive, but she is very nice and kind to those who prove that they are no harm to her at all. She is usually very reserved and unless she is very desperate to vent her feelings, she keeps her personal life to herself. She took a very big interest in herbs, so it is one of the only things that keep her mind occupied. She is very calm and very introverted. Her nightmares make it very difficult for her to sleep at night, which ends in occasional grumpiness in the mornings. She distrusts anyone who crosses her path without stating their intentions, and anything that reminds her of what happened can send her into panic mode. She can sometimes be found daydreaming of how life would've been if such thing didn't happen, and she also makes up scenarios in her mind of finding love or recovering from her depression. Kayi is very sweet to those who she loves, and she is very altruistic to those in need, because she knows what it feels like to be alone. She is filled with insecurities and phobias, but having such a strong will comes in handy when it comes to recovering. To those that actually enter her heart, she is very calm, loving, kind and she will love them unconditionally, opening up areas of her heart that many will never discover.
Kayi is stubborn, sometimes unpredictable, and she over-thinks things. She can be very quiet and fragile, but don't take her for a doormat--she can be surprisingly dominant only when needed to be, and she can defend herself due to living alone. Never underestimate her willpower. She is very intelligent and she is also wise, so she can also figure out when to keep her mouth shut and when to open it. She is a little enigma walking around Anikira, and there is so much more to her character that a wolf can get to know if he decides to find out and know her. However, the single mention, sight, sound or thought of bears or the subject of death of a loved one can trigger her PSTD, meaning that she will re-experience everything in her mind. The range of her symptoms can go from being uncomfortable and walking/running away to flat-out panic attack ending in her possibly passing out, but it all depends on the situation at hand. However, even with all of these fears and insecurities, her true desire is to find something that will toughen her up and fight against her demons, and to find her siblings safe and sound.
