History: Akachi's story starts with romance, somewhere in the northern region of Anikira. His mother, Kanya, who was a beautiful jet black Tundra, met his father, Ghayth, from a rival pack nearby. Ghayth was a massive Grey wolf, his pelt dappled silver and a dark shade of grey. Kanya and Ghayth first met in a border-territory warning meeting. The two packs were bickering over stolen prey from either of their lands, blaming their opposites for the missing food sources. Tensions sparked as the two packs threatened each other for war as the eyes of our lovers locked and hearts melted.
That night, after the two packs had finally left each other to sulk in their own territories, Kanya ventured to the borders of her pack, hoping to get a glimpse of her crush. Surprisingly enough, Ghayth was waiting for her when she arrived. The two were simply infatuated with each other, blinded with love.
After many secret meetings, Kanya and Ghayth decided to run away from their packs and start their own, somewhere far away from their kin's judging eyes. But, the lover's meetings hadn't gone unnoticed in Ghayth's pack. A desperate young she-wolf named Naicha was certain she was in love with Ghayth and began to follow him when he went out on his own, curious to where he was going all the time.
As Naicha found them out, she was heartbroken and sought revenge on Kanya for 'tricking' Ghayth into loving her. So, she told on him to the pack Alpha. Outraged, Ghayth's alpha immediately killed him, as his pack took no tolerance to relating with their rivals. Naicha went into a deep depression, not realizing this would be the outcome for her beloved Ghayth. She soon died from malnutrition, too heartbroken to find the strength to eat.
Kanya, pregnant with Ghayth's spawn, sought out the massive male for days until she found his body in a shallow sand dune, lifeless. Feeling heartbroken as well, Kanya retreated to her pack, vulnerable and confused. She had no idea what to do. With her lover dead, she couldn't possibly run off on her own.
As she progressed in her pregnancy in the protection of her pack, her pack members soon realized she was carrying pups. They were enraged, knowing full well it wasn't any of their pack's spawn, and chased Kanya to the borders, threatening to kill her.
On her own in the wilderness, Kanya began to become sick and feeble. She wasn't used to the harsh conditions out here and hunting was very troublesome for her. On a warm, moist evening, she finally gave birth to six pups. Four of them were still births. She mourned her for the pups who hadn't made it and nourished the two healthy ones whom she named Akachi and Saivo.
Just as the pups began to wean and started catching their own rodents and small game, Kanya passed from a disease she'd picked up from being desperate enough to eat an already dead Duiker. Savio and Akachi mourned their mother, unsure of where to go without her.
The young males stuck together, helping each other hunt and stay safe. When they grew too old to tolerate one another, the brothers decided to split off, saying their farewells with no hard feelings.
Personality: Akachi is a very polite male, not one to pick fights but one who defends with vigor. He very rarely gets upset. His main advantage is that he can keep his cool in any situation. He will try to laugh off tense situations and is always the ice breaker in a conversation. Akachi is the best wolf to be friends with, being so easy to get along with. He loves to make others happy and is a real pup at heart. Having fun and joking around is always what he likes best.
Although he spent a much longer time with his brother than his mother, Akachi prefers the company of females. Males seem to always be more distant and unfriendly. Females are usually more ready to accept him and work with him rather than make everything a challenge or competition. This black male wants nothing more than to belong.
Akachi is extremely loyal and will never break a promise. He is often shy around strangers. The onset of difficulty in walking is usually a side effect, making him out to look simple. But with time, Akachi finds his balance around strangers who become known to him and he will soon begin to annoy them with frequent, friendly conversation.
