Due to the time of year it was when Fernand had gotten free of the oceans clutches he had been freezing. The bite of winter was always something he wished he could just blast away, but a mere wolf would never be able to do such things. His fur tried to dry as quickly as it could at the time and yet it hadn't really done so. He was cold, confused and one would say miserable. Yet, those grey eyes of his didn't portray such a sorry state like most probably would. Still, the brute had the shakes and even his mohawk, that usually stood high, sunk. Heavy breathes left his flaring nostrils as he kept wondering aimlessly about the new land he was in. Not even knowing if he would end up somewhere dangerous, but he didn't really care. Getting warmth at the time was his only concern. If he ended up getting eaten or mauled, oh well. At least he had tried to live a little longer. For what? He didn't know that either it seemed.
With steps that seemed to get heavier, the male pushed forward with flattened ears and his tail remained in its limp ways as he did so. Forward, was the only direction he could go. The refusal of going back was more so prominent than the fear of being frozen. However, one could only be so stubborn and the male ended up having to lay down to catch his breath. Storm hued eyes slowly glide about his surroundings when they saw a hole. A sigh pushed through his nose. Exhausted, did he really want to put in any more effort? With heavy lids Fernand nearly gave up the notion of picking himself up, but his father's nagging voice echoed through his skull. In the end he picked himself up and begun to drag himself along once more. Eventually reaching a little cavern, just big enough for a few individuals, maybe. He sniffed for any sign of an occupant, but nothing had shown up. With little else he trudged in and thud to the floor. Eye lids so heavy he fell asleep without any given consent.
An hour or so had to of passed because when he woke, the sun had just barley budged through the sky. However, at this moment in time the man did not move. Physically and mentally he was exhausted. For now he decided to lay in what safety he had. Rest for what time he was gifted and worry about other necessary he'd need eventually.
