History:
Isaiah’s conception was one of rape and brutality, and though the possession of Belial over Ahri had turned to his birth, it was the most unfortunate of beginnings. Originally born Iinan, his mother had decided on Isaiah instead after Belial had his input. They were one of his proudest achievements, true beasts in every sense of the word.
However, their youthful happiness was short-lived. In the night, Isaiah was taken by a member of a pack called Osani—however, as he struggled to get away, a she-wolf named Zuri managed to free him. Though she was not a wolf of many words and Isaiah outgrew her quickly in size, he learned to think of her almost as a second mother, though he would never tell his brothers the story.
The pup was smart—he was quick on his feet and even quicker in mind. Zuri helped him perfect his hunting and survival in the north, and he lived with her into her old age. He learned of herbs and healing, the idea of karma, and how to be compassionate to all life, even in death—he was taught how to kill with mercy. Though she was far from affectionate, she was a welcome presence in his youth. With no family to speak of, Isaiah was a wolf without a place. Though he was strong in body and mind, he was still young and impressionable, and the she-wolf kept him out of the darkness that might have consumed him. Though he didn’t know it yet, Isaiah was very unlike his brothers.
When she passed, he mourned for her and took her body to the tallest mountain where she would be picked up by birds and fly with them for eternity. It was a beautiful idea, to Isaiah.
He didn’t believe in the gods his family had, and while he never forgot the thirsty calls for conquest, he purged them from his belief system. However, he thought on his brothers often, and at almost two years old, he wandered loner territory and talked to wolves of all kinds. He cycled through the continent as the seasons changed, residing in the north for the summer and crossing back into the southern territory for the winter. He didn’t return to Ina’mos—he feared the empty swamp would haunt him, and he was paranoid.
Females drooled over him—some males did too. He was gorgeous and charming, and others liked being around him. In his travels, he learned of what a rarity he truly was, and made acquaintances across the continent until he heard the rumors of an emperor on Ina’mos named Goliath. The alpha had recently conquered Acerbus, previously Descai land. Isaiah had met Ryker once—the Golden family, he called them. He hadn’t stayed for long, but the gold-flecked male had seemed strong at the time. If he had been taken over... it couldn’t be a coincidence—it had to be his brother. In a jaunt based on faith alone, Isaiah made his way towards the land he once called home, his optimism rightfully cautious, all the while preparing himself for the worst.
Personality:
Isaiah was touched by his mother in both appearance and soul, lacking Goliath’s insanity and Sabaoth’s vicious temper and inheriting compassion and beauty instead. Inherently gentler than his siblings and compassionate to others, he keeps a level head while remaining rather blunt in some situations. The ideal mediator, Isaiah prefers to avoid conflict with words rather than taking direct action. The trait makes him an asset in the face of his brothers, and while he is fiercely loyal and loving to a degree, he doesn’t shy from pointing out their wrongs.
Though he isn’t humble by any means, he quietly relishes in the attention he receives from females for his stunning good looks. The perfect mix of masculine and feminine features, the token “pretty boy” often rides the line between sexualities, eloquent and charming with both genders. That being said, Isaiah is only sexually interested in females, though he does hold a position of relative celibacy in comparison with his brother, holding a high standard for the women he chooses to mate.
Isaiah’s idea of love is what he remembers from his mother, who somehow managed to love her sons and daughter despite their fractured conception. In his separation from his brothers, he learned more of compassion and deepened his spirituality and superstition under the eye of Zuri. To Isaiah, the miracle that he survived was an act of a proactive karma; he owed it to the universe to repay his debt and keep his reputation, something that he intended to keep intact. This causes him to be somewhat paranoid about decisions he makes, though it doesn’t affect him as deeply as Goliath’s spirituality affects him, in contrast.
Isaiah is also empathetic, though not always sorry for others. While he can often understand where others are coming from and almost always sees both sides of the token, he is not always freely forgiving.
Overall, Isaiah is relatively goodhearted and highly intelligent—not a knight in shining armor, but even-tempered and level in his morality.
