Years RPing: 2-3 years
Other: I've never done advanced role-play before, but I really want to test out my writing skills. I'm actually a female, and don't usually rp male wolves. I've done a few rps, but many of them became inactive.
How You Found Us: Top 50 wolf rpgs

Weight: 90 pounds
Coat Color: black phase wolf, has white socks peppered with black, white muzzle, and black ears.

Other Information: He does have a few scars here and there, but his fur covers them up. He has one distinctive scar across the lower front right leg, it is long and thin, his fur does not cover this up. His pelt does not thin out completely during summer so sometimes he gets hot if he is being very physical, but it does thin out. His winter coat is heavy, and it is not soft. His nails are worn down constantly, and he has slightly bigger back paws than normal.
Mental Stability: Unstable, mostly Sane though
History: He was born into a litter of four pups on the island of Ankira, however one of his sisters died very early on from something that was never identified. This left him with one sister, and a brother, and this meant that competition was not very high, and he usually had enough food to eat. He was not part of a pack, but he did have a mother and father for most of his life. He and his siblings were always very close, and he had a less close relationship with both of his parents. They lived a good life as pups, playing, and laughing, and terrifying all the small game and insects within the radius of their den. At around a year old they had all received most of the skills that they would need to survive, fighting and hunting, and his sister grew distant. She would travel to the edges of the small territory the family commanded, and not return to the den for days. One day she said goodbye to his brother and himself, and left in search of a mate or another pack. They both had known this was coming for some time, so even though they were not happy to see her go it came to no great shock.
They were now a year old, and his brother wanted an alpha position within the four wolves, fighting with his father he lost, and instead of staying as a subordinate his brother decided that he too would leave. Karath had no strong ties with his parents, and as he had grown and his siblings had left these ties had finally weakened to the point when he determined that he no longer wished to stay there. Leaving right after the next litter of pups was born he used the time when his father and mother were in their own little world caring for the next litter to slip away, and never returned. He does not know the outcome of the litter. Instead of seeking out his siblings instead he traveled. These travels allowed him to hone his skills at fighting and hunting, and in the process he learned most of the island.
He however had the misfortune of running across a small band of wild dogs, and they gashed his leg badly, it was not broken, but he was limp for a week while it healed, and the spot was tender and he could was not at full strength for some time after. He got into many other fights, not easily provoked, but he disliked obeying the rules and boundaries at the edge of territories and so got into a lot of fights. Even though he generally had a peaceful overall temperament he sometimes took fun in provoking other wolves and picking fights with them for the fun of it. He did not know if he did it for the thrill, to keep his skills up, or just for the blood, but he did, and eventually gained a reputation among some of Ankira as a rogue. Now fights followed him everywhere, he was hunted for a small time until he fled, but the short period of almost constant fighting was hard on him.
Personality: He does not always like to follow rules, and has a strong sense of following his own code (however twisted it may be at times). He can and will pick fights for the fun of it, and he vehemently picks fights with those who are not wolves (including dogs), because of the attack, and bad experiences with them chasing him off his kills. While he might have an attitude that suggests rebellion he is not always active about it, and will usually choose the easy way out, this being said it takes awhile for him to develop a sense of loyalty. He would rather do what is easy, and save his own hide than try to do anything for anyone else. He is not oblivious to the suffering of others, but it is not always in his nature to do anything about it.
To most he is indifferent, unless he is looking for a fight he enjoys company like most wolves and needs the social aspect in his life, but does not seem interested in getting past preliminary greetings. He does not have a lot of friends to betray him, and would treat it with indifference unless it brought physical harm to him in that case he would seek retribution. While he is not dumb he does not go to great lengths to scheme any revenge, for not only does he find it easier to tackle the problem head on, but he has not met with much resistance to this way of thinking.
His way of perceiving others is rather simpleminded. He will take others and their actions at face value, and not really create a true opinion or judgement of another, but when he wants to he can evaluate a situation, and come up with an efficient, and complex solution. Unless it involves a fight or someone he has developed a relationship with he has very little social skills or interaction making developing a bond difficult.
