Changes have become too severe in Anikira, and the wolves have been temporarily relocated to the Anikiran Southern Isles. Things have grown dire and unlivable on the mainland; it was time for outside intervention. Please be sure to review the full update on the staff board for more information!
The current season is fall in the Southern Isles. Due to their proximity to the equator, the region is still warm. There is currently no breeding and no birthing amongst the wolves
Morning had come early, or at least it had come far too soon for the young white and gold male. He groaned softly, pushing himself to his feet and stretching much too lazily back and then forward. The tigress that he typically curled up beside remained sleeping soundly in the dense thicket they had chosen as a bed the night before. Uninterested in waking her, the large male pushed himself through the foliage and out into the open trees. The darkness was still blanketed heavily over the Kamari, but he could see the first hints of morning peeking at the horizon through the gathered trunks of the trees that surrounded him. He should have woken earlier, prepared and planned, but perhaps he would get lucky hunting today.
He knew it would have been smart to wake up before the prey, but he had no doubt that the cold morning would keep them hidden away longer than expected today. He knew just what his target would be, too. He had been debating the idea of hunting the pronghorn herds for some time now, but the best strategy to take down a decent sized meal - or a few, for that matter - would be to involve more than just himself. Perhaps this would be just what the pack needed. He had spent quite a bit of time speaking with Valeria one on one, and he knew she had done the same with a few of the other former Descai members. But they still were not quite a family. It would take much more than a few talks to get everyone comfortable trusting each other.
He sighed softly, arching his back for a moment and yawning softly before pushing off in the direction of the Boryz Prairie. His nose then tilted towards the sky, eyes remaining mostly open as he called out to his new family and requested assistance in hunting. There was no point in worrying if the prey were alerted, for it would take them at least an hour to gather and form any sort of plan before they were prepared enough to take on the herd. If they were lucky, perhaps they could take down a few pronghorn and feed the pack for a while. But the only way they would know would be to try it together. Alone he could probably take down a young and weak creature, for the adults would be much faster than his large form, but with a pack they could work together to split a few from the herd and take them down together.
Finally he could see the trees thinning out even more so that the prairie was partially in view. This was close enough. He knew the herd would be in the prairie, but he did not want to encourage the pack to gather too close and spook them before they had a chance to build a strategy and put it into practice. For now he jumped up on a large fallen tree, sitting down and letting his tail hang back over the edge to wait. He was not sure where his pack members had wandered off to after the initial entrance of the Valyn females, but he was sure that none of them had gone off too far. With a surprising patience, he let his blue eyes wander the tiny clearing he had stopped in, tail tip twitching slightly back and forth and ears listening for any hint of anyone approaching.

Male | 1 Year | Tundra/Mack Valley | Descai Subordinate
The black female wandered towards the dens, knowing that that was where her Seraphim wished her to go; and to meet other wolves wonderful she thought sarcastically as her face showed none of the emotions swirling underneath. She couldn't leave the pack lands, but she supposed that was normal - she was basically on a trial period. If anything, at least, Valeria seemed to be a sensible leader, and she wasn't about to go directly disobeying most of the femme's orders. Before she could reach the den, however, or the area in which the scent of wolves was strongest and she assumed the dens were, she caught wind of another wolf. Taking in a deep breath through her maw she allowed the scent to settle as she analyzed it male, Valyn, alone she had no interest in convening with a large amount of other wolves that might be at the dens, and this seemed like the best solution to still get a sense of what this pack was like. Changing her path only slightly, she allowed herself to only notice what was around her, instead of focusing inwards to her thoughts. Her paws swept across the land silently even if she knew that she would stick out like a sore thumb, but she sensed prey nearby and if the male was planning on bringing it down she had no intentions to make her presence known through making his hunt fail.
As she approached nearer she contemplated changing paths and avoiding any more wolves for awhile longer in favor of getting to know the territory - however the rational voice in her mind forbade it, a pack wolf was usually sociable and spend most of its time around other wolves, not to mention if the Seraphim really thought her a spy wandering these lands alone might spark that up. Still she was only willing to play Valeria's game for son long, the other she-wolf would have to decide whether or not to trust her as a pack member and I will have to decide whether or not to trust her as my alpha she thought in a different tongue. Her decision made her green eyes scanned the area for the male that she should be able to see now.
When she did see him she almost faltered, the brute was more than three times her weight most likely, and considerably larger than she was. She blinked, he had blue eyes and an odd coloration around one of them. Her own set of orbs narrowed as she observed the male, him sitting on a tree branch only served to make him seem larger, and she wondered if he was in high standing in the pack. Not that it would affect her decisions toward him overly much, but she was curious. What really put her off thought was the fact that she detected another scent on the male. Not the scent of a wolf, it was the mark of a different animal. She had come across many, but this...this she did not know, but it wasn't here. She struggled to keep her tail neutral and her lips from curling back to reveal a snarl, this was strange. Not one to back down she calmed herself although the aggression was still bubbling beneath the surface and then with careful steps walked over to the log that the male had placed himself on - bunched her hindquarters and balanced on it so that she could meet him as close to eye to eye as possible given the height difference. She didn't speak first and waited to see what he would say. Her curiosity mixed equally with her aggression that stemmed from her confusion.
[attr="class","pltxt"] The call of her brother stirred Valeria from the dens once more where she had been monitoring their father's condition. It would not be long now before Vorilye was no longer of this world; Valeria had made it her goal to watch over him. But the call for the hunt was an excellent idea; the alphess could not bring herself to linger at the dens if the pack was organizing a hunt. It would be an interesting test at how the Descai wolves and their Valyn counterparts were able to work together. While things were growing less tense by the day, Valeria could not anticipate how things might shift with Vorilye's death. She felt comfortable in the progress she had made with her siblings. Apart from Remus and Romulus, who she had yet to track down, the pack was growing more comfortable and seamless. It was no longer feeling like the "Descai wolves" and the "Valyn wolves" as it had in the first weeks. If anything, the members of her birth pack were coming to terms with their new titles and positions within Valyn. Maybe it was conceited for the alphess to keep her pack's title over Descai, but if she was going to lead, it would be on her terms.
With Pharaoh calling for the hunt, Valeria could admire that the young male, though not overly experience, did have many of the traits of their father. He was proving to be a strong ally in this whole mess, and she was intent on showing her support and confidence in the male. Like she had initially told Galathe, her actions would be what proved the changes, not just her words. And by standing by her brother, planning the hunt and taking down their prey as a team, she would be doing just that. There were many of the newer members of the pack, namely Phoenix and Ciar, that it would be a good test to see how capable they were as well. While the males still needed to prove themselves to her, Valeria was more comfortable with the idea of working beside them, even though they were not of her blood. It was a glorious day indeed for Valyn.
As the Seraphim approached her brother, she dipped her head in greeting to the white male. Valeria also cast a wayward glance to Rassa, the femme who, although she was still not certain about, seemed to have hung around despite their nasty initial meeting. Maybe she, too, would prove her worth to the pack today. There was much resting on a successful hunt. "Pharaoh, it is good to see you again," she offered the male a half-smile. Every day, she was growing more tired, but it was in her best interest to see to it that pack business continued as normal. Her pups were growing steadily, and this pregnancy was different than her first in several ways. Firstly, she knew what to expect with the changes, and she was more able to accommodate and overcome those challenges. She was also acutely aware that soon, she would have to depend on these wolves to maintain some of the pack business, as she would be more confined to the dens as she awaited the birth of her young. She was certain that everything would be in order by then, but until that time, she was going to keep herself involved in everything possible.
"I suppose we should wait for a few of the others... I hope that Phoenix and Ciar will join us here as well," the Seraphim explained to her younger brother. "They are newcomers to the pack. I believe this will be a good chance to see what they are made of, along with you," she joked with a smirk. Although Pharaoh talked big game, it would be good to see him in action as well. Since their initial meeting, Valeria was confident in placing her trust in the male, but watching him lead the hunt would be eye opening as well. "This one is in your hands, Pharaoh. I am simply here to help."

It all seemed a bit surreal. Phoenix still couldn't wrap around his head the fact that he had finally been accepted into a pack of his own. Let alone a pack that he had searched for almost the entirety of his life. He felt satisfied with his decisions so far but felt even more lucky that Valeria had seen something in him to deem him worthy enough to be a part of Valyn. Even now images of the ebony and gold femme flashed through his mind, taunting him. He shook his head roughly- he couldn't think of her that way no matter how tempting those images were. She was a beautiful creature, anyone with eyes could see that. What he liked even more was that she wanted to take the time out of her schedule to spar with him just to see what he was capable of. It made him feel like he had somewhat of an edge versus others but he wouldn't boast about it. Still he could not help but feel lucky that she saw something in him, though what it was he wasn't quite sure. He just hoped that he lived up to those standards that she had. He was beginning to grow accustomed to his new home, patrolling borders simply because he can and because he wanted to get used to their territory. It was while he was strolling along that a call echoed towards him, an unfamiliar one but one that was obviously belonging to a wolf of Valyn. It was a call of gathering, even Phoenix could recognize that and so he altered his course a bit. He did not feel nervous as he strode along and instead a sense of curiosity overcame him. Who was calling the gathering? What was it about? These were answers he had to obtain and so he quickened his pace.
Moving with speed and agility he wove through the trees, his nose guiding him to the unfamiliar scent of the brute that had called him. He had the scent of Valyn on his pelt so Phoenix was not worried, and the closer he got the more a familiar scent made it's way towards him..Valeria. His pace faltered for a moment before he adjusted himself, he slowed to a walk then, his head held high as he then strode into the clearing. Pale green orbs glanced over to the ivory form of the brute who had called them. Among them was a ebony female and Valeria. Although Valeria was the only familiar face he saw he did not hesitate in dipping his head briefly in greeting to the other two. Greetings. His deep baritones broke the silence as he stood calmly, watching everyone with interest as he waited to see just what this gathering was about. He tried to avoid staring at Valeria for too long, and instead focused on the young brute that had called the meeting. It was evident that he was related to Valeria which peaked Phoenix' interest even more. He had yet to meet siblings of Valeria and he was very curious of them and just how they all acted in general. Today would be a very good day and a day of proving himself to the rest of the pack, that much he was sure of.
It seemed like it was just the other day when the ivory and gold she wolf had left with her sister to make a life of their own away from Descai. That day was last day Zofia thought she would see of Descai's lands but she had been wrong. Here the Mackenzie Valley she wolf was, jogging around the land she grew up in. Back when Zofia was still a member of Descsai, the pack had owned two lands, being Kamari and Acerbus. Acerbus has been the land that she was born in and spent most of her time in, though she did venture into a Kamari a couple times whenever she could sneak away from her over-bearing mother. So the sights that came into view of her green orbs were native to her and somewhat comforting. Zofia did enjoy her short lived life in Kal'dyne since not only was it a new adventure but also because she was finally becoming her own individual, which allowed her to mature into the almost three year old she was today.
Upon their arrival back to their birth lands, Zofia was surprised to see that Descai was once again thriving. There had been talk about how it appeared as if Descai was starting their demise after her half-brother Ryker almost ran it to the ground, but somehow her father Vorilye was able to revive it despite his failing health. Though the fact that her father rose Descai by the grave by producing more offspring didn't really surprise her, for Zofia already had many half-siblings, most of which she either never met, or barely knew. Either way, the she wolf was glad that her birth pack had survived, and the merging of the two packs had upped their numbers.
Zofia was currently in Boryz Prairie, wandering about aimlessly as to clear her somewhat troubled mind. Upon Valyn's arrival back to where Valeria and herself grew up, they were obviously greeted by their father, though this was not the father that Zofia remembered. Vorilye was rather absent in her pup hood but that was mainly because her mother was highly protective of her young, but the times she had seen her father, he was a healthy looking, strong brute. Now Vorilye was obviously fragile and his health was failing, and Zofia knew that his time left in the world was limited, which in a way made her feel guilty since she never really formed a close bond with him. She wanted to do that now more so than ever, but she was unsure of how he would react for both her and her sister had left without telling her father, so there was the possibility that her father held a grudge against Zofia for doing that and that was the reason why she was hesitant to go visit him.
Before she could dwell on her negative thoughts anymore, a howl rang through the air, catching Zofia's attention. It sounded like it was from her half-brother Pharaoh and it seemed that he was calling for a hunt. Excitement enveloped her causing her to almost forget about what was going through her mind moments ago. Zofia loved a lot of things, but social interactions was what she loved the most. Plus this would give her a good opportunity to form some kind of relationship with her half-brother and whoever else were to show up. So with her tail wagging fiercely, Zofia bounded off into the direction that the howl had come from.
It didn't take long until four figures came into Zofia's line of sight. The ivory and gold she wolf slowed her pace down, for the scent of whatever they were hunting was strong and she didn't want to scare it off. As she got closer, she realized that her sister and two strangers were there aside from Pharaoh. Zofia placed herself beside Valeria, giving her a loving nudge before coming to a stand still. She then began to observe the two wolves that were strangers to her. One of them was pure ebony and was a female and the other was a male that had a coat that consisted of various shades of brown. Though they were strangers to her, they smelled of Valyn which made them family and that made Zofia even more excited to meet the two.

Why did Raksha want Ciar to prove himself as a hunter? It made no sense. He was hopeless at hunting, even with her guidance, and he was not ready! Surely, a good huntress such as herself could see that? But she was his superior and it would go against everything that defined Ciar to disobey so he followed the instruction, following the scent of his packmates gathered someplace in Boryz Prairie.
The first to come into view was a male who had markings the same golden colour as Valeria's, but the markings were a different shape; around his right eye, there was a ring of gold and then a line the same yellow-orange hue zipping off to the side. Another difference was his eyes and his snowy white coat, although the golden marking still stood out to Ciar nevertheless. Perhaps Valeria and this male were related somehow. He was extremely large as well, another resemblance to the Seraphim.
Next was a black female, significantly smaller than the blue-eyed male but still slightly longer than Ciar's tiny form. Her eyes were green like the mixed breed male had been told his own eyes were—'disgusting, vomit green', verbatim, from his mother. Suddenly remembering his manners, the Squire ducked his head low, hoping to not be punished by his superiors.
Then, to his surprise, Ciar spotted a large mass of black mingled with gold out of the corner of his low, emerald green orbs. The large form could only be identified as Valeria, Seraphim of Valyn. Embarrassment and awkwardness arose inside of the Maned dominant male as he recalled their past meeting. She had told him to act normally, like a female! To act like someone who was not worthless and stupid! Why? That was ridiculous and for a moment, anger and anxiety warred within Ciar, trying to come to a conclusion as to how to feel about it.
But he could not debate it for long as two other wolves came into view. The smaller of the pair, another green-eyed male, said his greetings and the larger of the two, a female, said her greetings as well. She also had the golden markings of the blue-eyed male and Valeria—were golden markings common on Anikira? Or perhaps they ran in the family and most of Valyn was related.
Brushing his musings off, the Squire remained silent, awaiting his masters' word to commence the hunt. Words: 411 Tags:PharaohRassaValeriaPhoenixZofia Notes: SUCH A LATE REPLY SO SORRY <3 It sucks as well but meh Muse: Decent

Time ticked by slowly, and the large male could almost feel the seconds passing like heart beats as he sat and waited for his call to be answered. The pack would need to hunt together in order to bring down any decent sized meal, but he also was unsure of how many wolves would even bother responding. He was not a leader of Valyn, he had no say in what happened and who did what. But perhaps he could somehow form a bond between the two packs and get all of the wolves of the new Valyn working together for a common goal. The Pronghorn could be an easy meal or a difficult one depending on their target and their strategy, but first he would have to wait and see if anyone actually showed up. To his surprise, his call was answered only a short while later by an unfamiliar face. The dark wolf approached with a mixture of hidden aggression and caution, making the large white and gold male tense slightly and lift his head higher in dominance. Sure, he had no particularly high rank, but he could easily tell that this wolf was not a long-time member of Valyn and therefore was unlikely to have a rank higher than his anyways.
But before he could speak and ask who she was, a familiar wolf approached. It was Valeria, his half-sister, and he dipped his head in a respectful greeting upon her arrival. "Pharaoh, it is good to see you again." The greeting received another nod from the male and a small smile. "And you as well." He said in response, before lifting his head and letting his eyes move to the next arrival, one that honestly did surprise him more than he expected. It was a male wolf, and not of his bloodline. It was rare for him to see another wolf that was unrelated to him here, but even more rare for it to be a male. He stared for a moment and tilted his head curiously, but it was not long before the other male offered his own greeting and received a small nod from Pharaoh as well. "Good morning, I am Pharaoh, half-brother to Valeria." He said, glancing over at his sister for a moment as he offered his name to the two strangers.
The next wolf to arrive was a familiar one, but not one he had seen particularly often. Zofia had been with Valeria when his sisters had returned to the Descai homeland. They were still his family, however, and he had welcomed them home just as warmly as their father had. His pack and his family had doubled overnight that day, but he could not find it in himself to complain. They were stronger than ever now, and though there were several new faces - including an interesting looking wolf that he had only just now noticed - perhaps a hunt together would make them all family in bond and loyalty. "There is a herd of Pronghorn a short distance from here. If we split into a couple groups, one to chase and spook the herd and the other to take down a couple well made targets, we could all eat for some time." He said, glancing over at Valeria for a brief moment. She had given him the go-ahead to lead the hunt, though he could not help but feel like she would be judging him the entire time.
He had nothing against his sister or her leadership, but even he was smart enough to tell that she was pregnant and growing more so each day. "Zofia and Valeria, could you both lead the group to spook the herd? We'll need at least two targets with the amount of wolves we have here. If the two of you can lead two pronghorn in the direction of each pair of the rest of us, we should be able to easily take them down. That would leave us with three wolves to each target to minimize risk and increase the chance of success. Phoenix and, I apologize I do not know your name," he paused, looking over at the dark female that had been the first to arrive, "you two could work together for one, and then the two of us," another pause had him targeting Ciar with his blue eyes, "can take down the other. Does anyone have any questions?" He asked, hoping that his assumption of Phoenix's name was correct and that everyone was happy with his decisions and organization. He could not help but imagine their chances as he spoke, knowing that two targets would be a decent meal for them all, especially since the pronghorn were rather fat and bulked up for the winter months. But would they agree with him? He knew that Valeria's size would easily intimidate the herd, but with Zofia's alternative coloring to make them a black and white pair, it might confuse them and throw them off guard as well. Phoenix was large enough to do well taking down one target with the help of the small black female, and he had no doubt that he could take down the other with the help of the odd looking stranger.
The black female observed the male who seemed to be trying to make himself appear even more dominant, almost snorting at the display, she hopped down from the log and repositioned herself so that the male would be able to feel some measure of superiority if that was what she was after. She was not in the business of interacting with those who judged her inferior and thought the rendezvous would be a short one before she left. Besides considering her own rank she had little doubt that this male placed above her. More scents clouded the periphery and she realized that more wolves were beginning to filter in Wonderful, she observed sarcastically this is exactly what I was trying to avoid. When the scent of Valeria registered she knew that she couldn't exactly walk off.
With a short huff of air she waited for them to come, when her alpha came into sight she dipped her head shortly before shifting back and sitting down in order to observe the gathering that was taking place. She glanced up at the male as Valeria addressed him and narrowed her eyes Taking orders from him? she considered the brute for a second I suppose it has to be done the female scented the air. There was prey around as she had detected before, the large game would be almost impossible for her to take on alone, however if there were as many wolves as she could scent coming then she might actually be able to eat - provided that there was enough food for the bottom ranking wolf to eat. She had little doubt that she wasn't going to be the first to dive into a kill.
Another came, greeting the group cordially, but she made no move to respond. Soon more wolves came, a female. She wondered who was attached to the names Valeria had offhandedly mentioned and resolved to puzzle it out later in her own time. When the female spoke to declare her presence her eyes flashed with white as they widened - Valeria's sister. How...interesting she wasn't aware that Valyn was full of family members even if it was common. She couldn't easily see the resemblance between the wolves but it hardly mattered, they might be distant relations, however from the form of address she assumed they were close.
Finally a male came into view, and yet again the black female was intrigued even if she hid it better this time. She knew she was small but if she judged correctly this male might be even smaller.
Her attention was soon averted as Pharaoh began to speak, listing out jobs; his speech seemed much like a tentative train of thought however she knew that she would have to go along with the plan. Glancing at Valeria and Zofia she wondered, she guessed that if this was to test the newcomers mettle then this would be a perfect arrangement. She made no move to introduce herself to the group during the pause in speech after her name, maybe later she would introduce herself to the male, and find out what exactly had its scent on him. Sizing up the wolf she would be working with she regarded the male that she would have to be working with in a calculating manner.
She guessed she had been paired with him to balance out the size, she internally snarled at the idea that the brute running this thought she was weak, however she could see the wisdom in not pairing her with the other small male, accommodating for a wide range of strengths and weaknesses in each wolf was part of what made a pack so successful. Lifting her weight off the ground she began to head the short distance to the male to see what strategy he wanted to employ once they had an entire herd rushing towards them.
As the wolves gathered, Valeria could not help but be pleased with the turn out for the hunt. There were many of them... plenty enough to take down some good sized prey and feed the pack well. It pleased the Seraphim to see that some of the newer pack members had gathered as well. This would be a good place to see Rassa, Phoenix and Ciar work together with the pack. It did not escape her notice that the smaller black femme blatantly disregarded Pharaoh's words toward her. Her golden eyes narrowed at the wolf; she certainly was not doing herself any favors. "Rassa, see to it that you do your job with Phoenix," she warned dangerously, her words leaving little room for argument. Valeria nodded in acknowledgement to her brother, turning to move toward Zofia as well. It was only practical for her to work alongside Zofia, as the two would communicate well together. They could easily split the herd and kite off a few pronghorns toward the others.
"I suppose it is best we move out soon, before the herd gets too far from here," she observed with an errant sniff. The scent was still fresh, but they would gain more distance as the time passed, and Valeria did not want them exhausting their efforts chasing after the prey. They would have to make a move soon, but Valeria also would not make the final call. It was best to allow everyone time to organize before they set out on the prowl. This would be the first true test of the pack's ability to cooperate with one another. Though not everyone was a hunter or huntress, stalking and killing prey was a necessary skill for any wolf. They would not survive if they could not work together; the question was, would everyone be able to function as a unit and take down their target?
Phoenix had remained quiet ever since his arrival to the gathering. Not because he didn't want to speak but rather he wanted to wait his turn. He wasn't a rude, disrespectful twat. He would wait until he was either spoken to or directed. It was just his way of living. Briefly his pale green orbs drifted over to the ebony she-wolf before glancing back at the ivory brute tinged with gold. There was tension between them for some reason though he could not detect why. His gaze briefly directed itself toward Valeria then, a smirk crossing his kissers as his eyes met with hers before his attention was directed back towards Pharaoh. Good morning, I am Pharaoh, half-brother to Valeria. Phoenix dipped his head then in respect towards the fellow brute and recognition as well. Soon after the casualties were exchanged another entered through the clearing. This was another female but she also looked very similar to Pharaoh in coloration. It was clear that she was a sibling of Pharaoh and Valeria though Phoenix was unsure of her name. It's nice to see you, Pharaoh, and you as well sis. As for you two, I am Zofia, what might your names be? Just as soon as he began to wonder what she might be called she answered his question aloud. He tucked the name away for later, in case he should run into her he would know what to call her. I am Phoenix. Pleasure to meet you. His deep baritones spoke as he nodded briefly at the female. Not long after a rather interesting looking brute arrived. He was of course not a wolf and he certainly did not smell like a wolf or look like one. Phoenix was perturbed by his appearance but he did not say anything. He was not one to judge regardless.
There is a herd of Pronghorn a short distance from here. If we split into a couple groups, one to chase and spook the herd and the other to take down a couple well made targets, we could all eat for some time. Zofia and Valeria, could you both lead the group to spook the herd? We'll need at least two targets with the amount of wolves we have here. Phoenix shook his head in response, meanwhile his gaze shifted over to the ebony female that he was paired with. She was petite which meant she would have speed and agility on her side, he however had strength and endurance behind him. They would work well together and should have no issues bringing down prey together if they worked as a team. She didn't seem to particularly happy to be paired with him at the moment. Rassa, see to it that you do your job with Phoenix. I suppose it is best we move out soon, before the herd gets too far from here. At Valeria's words Phoenix rose off of the ground. He moved over towards Rassa, his frame towering over hers though he tried not to appear "superior" in any way. Don't worry, we'll work well together. He spoke with a nod of his head before heading off to follow the others. He would not disappoint today. notes: sorry for the wait guys! Just moments after introducing herself to the two wolves that she was unfamiliar with, one of them responded, introducing themselves as Phoenix. “It is nice to meet you as well, Phoenix,” Zofia replied in a friendly tone. The Valyn Virtue waited for the black she wolf to introduce herself, but she never did, which she found to be odd. “Maybe she is just shy,” Zofia thought to herself.
Just when Zofia was thinking that the hunting was about to begin, another wolf made their presence. This wolf, or whatever it was, was unlike anything the Mackenzie Valley she wolf had ever laid her eyes on. The creature was shorter than herself and was very lanky. Its coat was a light brown and it had big ears. Though Zofia didn’t know the wolf’s name, she knew that it was a male. Not wanting to let the newcomer feel unwelcomed, the ivory and gold she wolf decided that she would introduce herself. “I am Zofia and who might you be,” she yipped quietly.
After the male settled in, Pharaoh began to give out instructions for how the group was going to work together to take down some of the pronghorns that were nearby. Zofia was glad when she heard her half-brother pair her and her sister together since the two sisters worked well together. Upon leaving their birth lands, Valeria and Zofia had to hunt for their food together and after a while, they came up with a nice system that allowed the two of them to work together like they were one. “Sounds good to me,” she barked excitedly as she playfully nudged her sister.
"Rassa, see to it that you do your job with Phoenix," she saw her sister say to the black female once their half-brother had finished giving out instructions. Valeria’s words weren’t very friendly and instead were somewhat threatening. For whatever reason, the Alphess apparently wasn’t fond of Rassa so that could explain why the black she wolf had remained quiet all of this time.
“Whenever you all are ready,” Zofia barked excitedly.

In an effort to provide the least restrictve roleplaying environment available, Anikira and their staff are looking to move to the Proboards paid forums. This forum would allow unlimited writing freedom to members, as well as an ad-free environment and our ability to customize the forum and its ratings/content however we choose! In order to do so, we will require your help! There is a monthly cost associated with this service, and any and all donations toward this goal are appreciated. Please use the PayPal link below for all donations for Anikira maintenance and moving costs. We look forward to a roleplaying environment where the sky is the limit!
Please note the donation page is listed under Uru's name as it cannot be listed otherwise without a business account. All funds associated with this PayPal account will be used directly for the maintenance and costs of Anikira, and hopefully soon anikira.com as our roleplaying forum.
This untraditional coupling is one of the truly loving matches in Anikira. Although they are members of two different species, Calantha and Rikez have overcome the differences and rose above, finding love in the most pure of ways. And from this pairing, a litter born of two loving parents was conceived. These little boys and girls will have the great honor of being raised by two parents that support each other, while many of the offspring in Anikira have not had such a benefit. The pair are truly fitting of one another; both kind-hearted and generally good individuals.
