History:
It all started long before she was born. Though her parents were native to Anikira, they hardly knew each other. In fact, her mother traveled for years with just her two brothers at her side, neglected by their parents and eventually abandoned by them altogether. Life as lone wolves on an island full of so many packs was not an easy one. In fact, they ran into their fair share of troubles. Each time, however, they managed to escape dangerous situations with only minor injuries or none at all. Maybelle, however, was more of a follower than anything when it came to her brothers. She would follow them to the ends of the earth if they asked her. One day, however, their bold excursions took them too far. They stumbled upon a large feline that none of them had ever seen before. Not only was the creature larger than they were, but she was also caring for young that she did not appreciate them so close to. Although Trilogy's mother escaped the attack, she was separated from her brothers. She was unaware of where they had gone or whether they were alive at all.
Now forced to travel on her own, she was more cautious and less lucky than she had been with her brothers at her side. In fact, she ran into trouble in a matter of hours after the loss of the rest of her family. A pair of male wolves, likely brothers, had spotted her fleeing the scene. They were larger than her, though many of her kind were. Both Kenai Peninsula wolves, the brothers wasted no time in taking advantage of the lone female. She was unrelated, and though she was not quite in season, they forced her to stay with them and even went as far as to use physical force to keep her at their sides and loyal. She fell into her place with surprising ease, for she had been a follower with her brothers and it felt only natural to do as she was told and go where she was told whenever she was addressed. The two males did not argue this, of course, and the next year when she came into season, they both took advantage of the situation.
Both brothers claimed Maybelle that year, over and over, until the poor female was too weak to move. Then, just as they planned, she began to grow. She was carrying their offspring, but none knew exactly who the father was. It did not matter, for they had no intention of letting her leave them. They cared for her and fed her while the pups grew within her, and when they were finally born, the brothers were disappointed. Only one of the litter was larger than the rest, which were all pathetic little creatures that did not deserve to live in this world. They promptly killed all but one of the pups, deciding to leave the largest female pup to grow and possibly benefit them in the future. And so Trilogy was brought into the harsh world under the care of her weakened mother.
Maybelle was growing weaker and sicker with age, but she did her best to care for her single pup as Trilogy grew. The brothers continued to provide, but as Trilogy grew, Maybelle developed a jealous protective instinct over her. The brothers looked at her like she was a piece of meat, a disgusting future plot for them and something that definitely did not sit well with the mother. By the time Trilogy was old enough to leave the den the brothers had already done their best to imprint themselves onto her. They refused to let Maybelle see her outside of the den, they taught her everything they could, without her mother's involvement. They took her hunting as she got larger, complimented her, trained her, got close to her. Eventually the young female grew to trust both males with all of her heart, and by the time she came into her first season, she was too far gone to realize what they had planned.
Although her mother had passed on a mild amount of anxiety to the young female, not to mention a lack of ability to control her anger, Trilogy could not possibly see what was coming before it hit her. The brothers, foul and horrible creatures they were, tried to use her like they had her mother. Now at her full size, the female attempted to fight them off, but inevitably fell to their advances. Ashamed with not only herself, but of her fathers as well, the female hid herself away from both the males and her mother. Of course, they knew where she was, but she refused to come out until she gave birth the next spring. Her disgust for her offspring, however, was uncontrollable. She killed them as soon as they were born, and then she fled. Before their teeth could fall on her in punishment for what she had done, she ran from them and left her mother to the horrible fate she had been forced into.
But there was no turning back. She could never go back, even if her love for her mother begged her to. The confusion that followed her young life left the female confused, anxious, and angry. She never recovered, and she doubted she ever would. The only thing she knew was that she would never let another male take advantage of her, no matter what she had to do. It had hurt her deeply to destroy her children, but she had been given no choice. They were abominations, and she could not let the legacy of those monsters continue.
Personality:
Broken. The large female has scars from her past and she holds an enormous fear of the future. But she has learned from her youth. She refuses to let anyone take advantage of her, refuses to let another overpower her, no matter what she has to do. In fact, her scars have forced her to train herself even harder, push herself even further, and build herself up into a well oiled machine against the harsh world that she lives in.
Although Trilogy has her cuts and bruises, the female is a strong and proud wolf. She refuses to be told that she is less than someone else, and often gets angry when another tries to belittle her. In fact, her lack of control over her anger can get her into trouble from time to time when she goes off on the wrong creature. This anger is not shallow and from vanity or anything. No, it is a deep-seated anger that runs through every fiber of her being. She is not above holding a grudge, and when she does, it is often impossible to change her mind. Some might describe her anger as hatred, but even she is not sure how far it truly stretches.
Behind her hardened and angry exterior is a creature of mixed emotion. There are times when her anxiety takes a hold of her, gripping her tightly and forcing her to leave all others behind to hide away on her own. She not only fears that her past will come back up to the surface, but also that others will see what a monster she was in the past. She cannot face the things she has done, nor can she face the demons that forced her to do them. But there is a soft side to her, a side that sees the beauty in the world and in new life. She adores pups, even though just being in their presence hurts her emotionally. They are a constant reminder of the pups she killed, but something about her horrible past forces her to try even harder for a better future. She is determined and loyal, and though she can be secretive because of her shame, there is little she would not do for those she loves and cares about.
