Pressure from the wizarding world following the Second Wizarding War saw Hogwarts sinking into dark magic. Strife between the Headmaster and professors caused the staff to shrink and parents to protest until the castle's doors were shut and the school condemned. Students were ushered to international schools, from Durmstrang to Beauxbatons. But there was a glimmer of hope: The descendants of the original founders banded together to re-open Hogwarts' doors for the first time in fifty-seven years.
