Welcome to Four Corners Institute of Magic, a unique take on the original American wizarding school.
The school is located in the southwestern United States of America near the quadripoint where the states Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah meet, on the Utah side, in a hidden desert valley. FCIM is accessible by the Four Corners Monument - students must make arrangements to reach the monument any way they wish. The school accepts students from all over the United States, and even Canada and Mexico.
For thousands of years, a singular tree has existed in what is now the courtyard of Four Corners Institute of Magic. Magic flows from the tree through the grounds, making the school not only a place to learn magic, but a magical place in and of itself.
When a group of rowdy students nearly destroy the tree on Halloween Night, strange things begin happening. Spells backfire. Potions turn to sludge - and these are just the beginning. Navajo Elders, longtime supporters of the school and the furthering of magical education for their kinfolk as well as magical students from across the country, are called in to repair the damages.
