Petite puppy paws padding away from the slumbering pile of wolves, coyotes, and coywolves. They were a strange bunch, assorted and of various species, but they were meant to be—Lyra had known that since the young pup could ever remember. The coyote dominant seemed to be quite a lot shorter than her brothers and around the same size as her sister. Despite feeling somewhat dwarfed by her brothers, Lyra was not intimidated by them, although the gender and size difference created an ever-so-slight gap between them. She felt close to them still and loved them just as much but the miniscule youth felt that she could relate quite a bit more to Harpy than her other siblings.
A puppyish desire burned within Lyra to explore, to discover what was out there. Leaving her family at the back of her mind, the minute coywolf stumbled over the slumbering bodies of her kin, seeking some solitary time. She could observe the running water, perhaps find it for herself.
Slow, steady breathing sounded in the background as ambient noise but Lyra ignored it, following the pretty trickle of water echoing somewhere far into Le-Le-Lerehh-Lerelum! No, Lerelm! Yes, that was it! Treading lightly so as to not wake up the family of six that she had so rambunctiously tripped over, the blue-eyed female grew closer to the water with earnest.
It was... It was beautiful. By the faint sunlight seeping through the tunnel, the expansive body of fresh water almost seemed to glow, reflecting what little light there was. The entire cavern lit up ever so slightly from the water's reflection, Lyra gasping in awe as she looked at the beautiful place before her. Lerelm's water source was more stunning than any of the various forests, lakes, or fields from Lyra's pulchritudinous, sensual dreams. Maybe this would create more dreams for the artistic fae.
Every sense was heightened as Lyra took in the scene before her. Her family's snores and... And something else, perhaps pawsteps, were still audible, but mostly drowned out by the sound of the beauteous water. There was no scent in the air aside from the faint hint of coywolves and some other coywolf that seemed awfully close. Wait... What other coywolves were there apart from her siblings? Lyra sure had not met any others of her unique hybrid species.
