The past few months had been rough for the lone female. She was having seizures more often than normal, and she couldn't figure out why. Usually, it was while she was hunting, so she assumed that the rapid changes from light to shade and back to light over and over again was causing her to have small seizures. She didn't think they lasted long... It was never long enough for her to really notice, and she had yet to have someone find her during one, but she supposed that she had just been getting lucky. She needed to find a pack or a companion of some kind that could take care of her when she went down. She couldn't feel them coming on, so she couldn't prepare for them either. And it wasn't like she could stop hunting... She had to live. She did, however feel a reluctance to hunt, though, and it was the reason why she was starting to lose weight. She had noticed the weight loss, energy loss, and just the fact that she had less strength, and so she set out to find a pack of some kind or someone that would want to take care of her... That seemed to be hard to come by, though... At least, a decent pack with good intentions seemed to be hard to come by. Rumors reached her of the giants that ruled the west, and while they might offer good protection, their morals and methods were... Sickening.
And so the female had headed east where she found the lands of I'queyer. The lands were unclaimed, and Genesis was unsure that anyone was able to claim them. They were so large, and it was common knowledge around the island that loners were often seen there. So many loners, in fact, that it might as well have been known as loner territory. The young wolf sighed as she walked through the lands, head hanging low as she walked on. She was exhausted from her long journey, and she was happy to finally be in the loner lands. It was not long, however, that she found herself at the mouth of a huge cavern. Her parents had spoken to her of the cave wolves that lived on the eastern side of the island, but she had never believed them. Only stories, right. She stared at the large entrance to the cave, ears perked forward with interest. She had no idea that a cave this large could even exist on the Earth. What could have possibly caused such a massive entrance? Curiously, she stepped forward, placing just a single paw on the rock of the cavern entrance. A single bark left her maw, though she didn't hear an echo like she had expected and wanted. She frowned a little, and peered into the cavern a little further, taking another step inside. She knew she was intruding, but she wanted to meet these mysteries cave wolves... Perhaps they would be able to offer her a home.
