The day was getting on and was getting close to dusk now. A lone red wolf male could be seen walking down the sand beach with a limp rabbit hanging from the male's jaws. The rabbit had come to a very quick death. Mainyu had leaped on it and the rabbit had died from the huge scare and plus, he had jumped on it's neck which broke it. Of course he had not just picked it up and trotted off with it, he had picked it up and shook it violently to make sure it was nice and dead before he walked off with his head high and his prize clamped between his two jaws. Now he was walking down the warm sand towards a large rock that rested a little higher up on the beach.
He leaped up the rock and laid down on the warm surface to began eating his prize. A large bird soon flew down and began to move closer to try and steal away some scarps, but Mainyu though otherwise. The aggressive wolf leaped over the rabbit at the bird, it almost escaped just fine, just missing a mouthful of feathers while were clamped in the jaws on the one eyed male. The black feathers were spit out and he returned to his food. Once he was done with the body, his teeth hooked the ribs and he flung the body out into the air which then hit the sand. Soon birds were fighting over the body.
Paws were square and his head was held up in a proud manner with his blue eye watching the bird fight over the scraps. His other socket held nothing except a little dirt in it which would soon cause infection if he didn't do anything to get it out. An ugly scar ran down the right side of his face as well, a fight had ripped the eye out and left that ugly scar as well. Bloody muzzle tipped back and his long drawn out howl filled the air. It was scared or lonely, not even one that said he wanted company, just one telling those around that he was in fact here and to watch their backs. He was not one who would take to new wolves. In fact he tended to scrap with them when they entered his vision. The wolf kept his head up as he moved to the edge of the rock and watched the waves crashing into the sand below him.
