Sianna tilted her ears to hear if anyone had followed. Listening closer the paw steps began to edge closer and closer. Spinning around the Timber fae was happy to see her newest friend Analla. Sianna smiled at the white fae and wagged her tail. Once Analla was close enough to hear Sianna she said, "Thanks for coming. I didn't want to be alone for my first hunt in this new land."
Smiling at Analla Sianna quickly turned around and sniffed the air. The faint scent of prey hung around this area. Most of the scents were stale leading Sianna to believe that she had to venture deeper into the forest. Motioning her tail, signaling Analla to follow, Sianna took off. Her light pawsteps echoed and sent vibrations up the trees.
Reaching a new area Sianna slowed down and sniffed the air. Ah, she thought. I smell something good. Facing Analla the Timber femme grinned and crouched low to the forest floor. Inch by inch she crawled forward until she was hidden by a large bush. Poking her nose out of the opposite end of the bush, Sianna sniffed. Suddenly her maw became watery as the familiar scent of deer entered her nose.
"Could it be the deer Den and i encountered before?" she questioned herself. Slightly poking her head out Sianna's brown eyes glowed. Success! They were the deer that had run off from Sianna and Dens deer hunt. Happily Sianna turned her head and faced Analla. Gesturing with her eyes she signaled the fae to come closer. While doing this Sianna hoped she had not offended her new friend with telling Analla what to do. Sianna always led the hunts in her old pack, so it became natural.
Thinking Sianna promised that she would allow Analla to say which deer they would go after and how they would attempt to catch it. Once Sianna felt her friend near she slowly and quietly said, "There is a small group of deers. Just say when, where and how to make a move."
