"You lead the way boss."
With that, the Tundra femme had made it her first priority to find the calling grounds. She wasn't too thrilled at being called boss, never one to see herself as the leader type. Hearing it from her Timber friend sounded odd. Still, she had only nodded her head and started walking, deciding it best not to carp about some trivival title.
Every so often, Denali would pause and scent the air. Her slender head would tilt towards the sky, nares flaring lightly as she took in a deep breath of the crisp, floral scented spring air. Every time she caught the hint of rotting eggs, she knew they were traveling in the right direction. The sulfer filled Lava Plain was an odd place for alphas to designate as a meeting ground, but the fae assumed she would just have to trust the rumors she'd heard. The land filled with smelly liquid rock was the land talked of as the place loners howled for pack acceptance.
"I think we're almost there..." The way her voice trailled off, it was a little obvious that femme was unsure of what she and Sianna were doing. The smell of sulfer was now overpowering, and the ground had an unsettling warmth about it. Golden orbs flickered from the left to right as Denali scanned from any dangers. Her steps had slowed, becoming more cautious, and her ears were as alert as they could be. The only sense she didn't have on guard was her nose, and that was only because the smell of rotting eggs was beginning to make her nautious.
Finally halting on a hardened patch of lava, Denali turned to Sianna with a weak smile. "This place is aweful," she commented with a nervouse laugh. "I'll send up an howl and hopefully we won't have to stay here too long." With that, she tilted her head towards the cloudy sky and prayed her call would reach the one intended for it.
"Alpha of the eastern mountains... My friend and I request permission to enter you lands and possibly gain acceptance into your pack." A little vague, but the Tundra fae wasn't quite sure how to word her request and she was rather timid due to the territory they were currently standing in. Hopefully the would receive a speedy reply and be allowed to be on their way.
