Sand. Water. Sand. Water. Rock. Oh a rock, no wait... clump of sand. Water.
The cool ocean breeze was some comfort from the burning ground. The sun at this moment was not the she-wolfs friend. The ocean looking like a beautiful utopia laughed at the she-wolfs face knowing she could not drink its refreshing liquid. "Go ahead laugh," she barked,"at least one of us should." Her tail dragged along the surface leaving a long and winding trail that was full of circles and turns behind her. Her pelt stuck to her body making her ribs a bit visible. The she-wolf then looked at the ocean once again, but this time it was calling her name.
Sianna... Sianna... Sianna...
"Please stop!" she begged knowing how thirsty she was. "Why must you tease me you... you evil mixture of salt and water." Sianna finally worn out collapsed to the ground and shifted the sand as she turned onto her back. Her dark brown eyes did not have their usually gleam, and looked more like burnt wood. She tried to lick her lips but it did no good. She had run out of saliva. Sianna began to moan silently and turned onto her side. She hated being out here in is this hot, coarse land. It was like hell, worse than hell it was actual life. The she-wolf then pulled her body in closer and rested her head on her front legs.
The wind began to blow harder tugging at her fur as if telling her to push on, but she couldn't. She was too tired, too hungry, and too thirsty. Sianna couldn't even remember how long she had been on this god forsaken beach. She longed for a forest for the soft cool grass under her four white paws. Most of all she longed to be home with her family, but that longing would live on forever. "I can't ever go home." she cried remembering the horrible fire that took her away from her loved ones.
Sianna let out a long and sorrowful howl. She then looked up at the blinding sun and rose to her paws. This time looking a bit more determined. To her own surprise she began to run. She ran and ran thankful that the wind gave her some support. "I'm going to find a new home!" she spoke confidently. "And no weather or problems are going to stop me."
