The quiet whispering of the spirits of the forest echoed through the trees, calling quietly. They spoke slowly, calling to the one who now called himself master of these lands.
"Exodus, Alpha of the Salen Pack. Find me; You must know the things which I know." The sentence was repeated over and over, quietly ringing through the trees as the form of a mostly white wolf appeared within the trees, temporarily calling on it's form to speak with the alpha. "You must know..." it hissed again, gradually increasing in sound to attract the attention of the Alpha and the Alpha alone. "No others must approach me. Only you can help,[/i]" the call went out.
The single spirit walked along the moist ground, feeling nothing and knowing everything. There were problems that must be tackled; problems that would need to be resolved to keep the land safe from the humans. The spirit knew of the impending danger; the destructive device that the humans had left behind once they left the land. No others knew of the dangers in Kamari, of the destructive matter of the springs, or of the device that would likely take out half of the continent.
Before Exodus could leave the Lleingas woods, whispers passed through his mind. At first they were quite and drowned out by the sounds of his movements across the barren land. When the brute at last heard the sounds so faint it seemed nothing more than the steady babble of water across pebbles, the black frame stopped in mid step. The demon’s eyes shifted from side to side as he tried to locate the whereabouts of the ghostly whisper. Whispers in the shadows called out to him. They called him by his name and his rank. It spoke of how he was the only one to approach the phantom being. How only he could help.
Readjusting Naira’s weight, Exodus grimaced. With as heavy as she sleeps, one would think the femme had wondered into a gigantic patch of Angelica and eaten the entire area. The brute thought with a gruff grunt. Sighing heavily, Exodus decided to lower her white form unto the ground and leave her here while he spoke with this whispers to see what the fuss was about. Padding away from her, he found himself in a quite area that was quite secluded from everyone else. No one would over hear the conversation. The alpha would hear them long before they got within distance to spy anyhow.
“Spirit!” Exodus’ voice rang out, his tone thunderous and yet curious all the same. “You have called me to me so we may speak alone. Here I stand, now, alone; not a soul in the world stands near me. I am but myself, forgotten, in this area of my lands.” The demon said, his silver eyes once again slipping around waiting for the apparition to appear if it were to do so. “What news do the great spirits have to bring to me?” Exodus continued, respect deep within his husky voice. Shaking his head once, he tried to ignore a sudden, soft throbbing that focused primarily upon the silver mark upon his forehead. The mark has never felt like this before but once in my short life. What will it mean this time? He questioned, waiting for the answer.

The white and brown spirit floated towards the black, marked brute, dipping its head in recognition of the alpha as it revealed itself. It spoke in a voice that could only be heard in the brute's mind, although any wolf to approach could see the spirit. It did not trust the other wolves of these lands with such an important task, and the spirits of the forest could not leave. It had to be this brute. "Exodus, I am one of the Spirits of Lleingas. There is grave danger on the horizon,[/i]" it murmured, its tail lashing angrily at the thought of the information it needed to pass. Circling the alpha a few times, it deemed him suitable for the information.
"Exodus, Alpha of the Salen Pack, there are lands to the east of here known as Kamari. They are now known as the Kamari Wastelands due to the descruction of the human beings.[/i]" It paused momentarily, closing its ghostly eyes to clear the tears of the past. "There is danger. Before my slaughter, I and the rest of my pack, known as Yuil, overheard the camp of humans. They have left a device, one of the most destructive nature. It is capable of destroying a large chunk of the continent." Once again, the spirit stopped to allow time for the information to sink in. Once the brute's spirit raised its head once more, the eerie words floated through the air, "It is up to you and the rest of the packs of Anikira. This device... It must be disarmed. Beware the springs of Kamari; they have been tainted by chemicals that can kill the simplest of creatures, including wolves.[/i]"
Pawing at the ground, the brute spirit carefully drew a picture of the device. "This... thing... is at the Boryz Test Site. You have to be careful. Only the red wire, the humans said, will disarm the device. The others risk immediate destruction." Closing its eyes once more without opening them again, the spirit explained, "Within the human's buildings of Kalus's Post, you will find the necessary materials. I am being called back; I must go.[/i]" With the information passed, the spirit, bowed lavishly before the alpha that he hoped would be able to save Kamari. He darted off, and his form dissolved before he reached the nearest tree...
"Only you hold the key, Exodus. Only you....
[/i]"[/center]

At the Spirit’s first few sentences, Exodus’ grim face darkened. Grave danger. Just what I need. He thought and then listened as the white and brown brute continued to speak. Exodus hung onto his every word, determined not to mishear any information. Kamari Wastelands. Yes, I have heard of this area among the elder wolves of my old pack. Bristling at the sentence of how the brute and his pack were slaughtered, Exodus’ black lip curled into a menacing snarl. How he despised humans and their incessant stupidity. Because of them, we could lose what little home we have left.
Closing his eyes and simply listening, the Alpha made mental notes. Beware Kamari springs. Boryz Test site. Mass destruction. Green wire only. Kalu’s post holds necessary materials. I am the key. At this, Exodus’ silver orbs snapped open and the spirit was gone. For a second, Exodus simply stood there and let the wind brush against his heavy frame. Well… this can’t end good. Quickly, Exodus threw back his head and emitted a powerful how that would reach even the darkest corners of his land.
Wolves upon the Salen pack lands, hear my howl. News has reached me that we are all in danger. This danger must not be spoken about in such open terms. The pack hunt may continued yet I will be unable to attend. Taurus, if you do not mind, please come and pick up Naira. Take her back to the mines I spoke about before and leave her be. While I am gone, you will be in charge of the hunt. I must speak with the other alphas of Anikira. Do not mess anything up, for if I return to find anything slightly amiss, I you shall be begging for the hounds of Hades to come after you instead of me.[/b]
Lowering his head, Exodus grimaced. He didn’t much think it was pleasant to threaten Taurus such as he did, but he had to ensure the safety of his pack. Not good at all. He thought and turned to the land known as Occasus. It was a wonderful thing that it was almost night. Exodus’ fur would be able to keep out the worse of the heat. Now to speak to the alphas. Heaving a heavy sigh filled with worry for how the events would fold and how his pack will end up, the brute took his first steps toward the land.
