[/i] Tuvia thought bitterly. He walked away, not even bothering to look back at the dead wolf. Crows were already beginning to gather around her, awakened by all the commotion she'd made. He waded into the ocean, washing as much of the blood from his chest as he could. The strong scent of sea water would be enough to hopefully remove some of the smell of blood. There was sand in his coat now, but it was better than having Apollo have to smell the scent of blood on his coat."Thank you for your offers of help, but we must go." Tuvia nodded, happy about the sincere thanks in the ebony femme's eyes. He was glad he wasn't getting in their way, it was really what he wanted. Tuvia seated himself and watched the other wolves scurrying about in their panic, until the white female spoke. "You don't ask for it." Tuvia nodded. He could tell that maybe, just maybe, he'd misread her. Maybe she was a lot tougher than he'd first thought. It was possible he'd misread her entire situation as well. He began to doubt his theory of her being a victim. Tuvia sat patiently, watching the two wolves leave. He didn't know either of them, but he felt there was something different about them.
Tuvia watched Apollo. He really didn't understand the maned wolf, but perhaps with time he would. He seemed mercurial, but in a different way than Vana. He seemed to be formed and influenced by the emotions and actions of others around him. Tuvia was interested, but felt a little wary. When he didn't understand something, it made him a bit more cautious. He understood that Vana was an idiot, which made him act with greater temerity, but he didn't understand Apollo.
Tuvia turned back to the two wolves. Vana was still crouched and glaring at him. He didn't know how she possibly could be glaring at him if she couldn't even see him, but he gave up even trying to feel sorry for her. “You know the land, correct? Would you mind showing me around?” Tuvia nodded and smiled. "Yes, I know the land pretty well, I am a loner after all. And I'd love to show you around, that'd be great. Where are thinking of going?" Tuvia said pleasantly. He kept one of his burning yellow eyes on Vana, noticing that she would probably do another one of her stupid outbursts again.
"You'll never become leader of these lands! And just because I'm blind doesn't mean you should look down on me!" Tuvia rolled his eyes at her and turned away from her. He looked back at Apollo. "Why don't you get started and I'll catch up with you? I've got something to take care of," Tuvia calmly stated. Vana charged him, but Tuvia was able to sidestep and grab her by the scruff. Tuvia trotted off, Vana kicking and screaming in frustration. He didn't want Apollo to have to see what he was going to do to the stupid bitch. He dragged her out of Apollo's sight, hoping he'd be able to keep him calmer that way.
Tuvia brought her behind a rather large rock and pinned her down. "Bitch, you've really f*cked up this time. You got yourself in way over your head. With me, there are no second chances," He grabbed her by the scruff of her neck once again and threw her against the rock, just to knock the senses out of her a little. She continued to roar curses at him, yell all the crap she wanted. Tuvia was very calm. He was used to all of this, it was a part of him. Vana continued to ramble on and on until Tuvia roared. He roared loud in her ear to get her to shut up. It made her quiet for a minute, but then she picked up with all the same bravado.
When he could stand her no longer, he set his jaws upon her throat. His sharp pearls pressured the sides of her neck, but didn't break the skin. He was really indifferent to killing her now, he'd just had enough of her. "Think of it as me doing a favor of you. At least you'll be able to see the flames in hell," He chuckled darkly. He released her neck from his teeth and pretended like he was about to let her up from her pinned position, but he turned around sharply.
Swiftly and smoothly, his teeth met her neck. The skin tore easily beneath his practiced fangs and warm, familiar liquid meeting him as well. His now feral eyes stared into her eyes, a mixture of surprise and horror on her face. It seemed to him like in her last moments, she could finally see the the brilliant moon shining above his head. His teeth continued to sink deeper and deeper into her neck until they met bone. Crunch! It was the sound of her neck breaking and her soul fleeing from her body. Tuvia didn't even feel the tiniest bit of remorse. Blood splattered onto his chest, covering his brown pelt with red. Her face was blank and her body limp. He had waited for her to stop being so stupid, but the time had never come.
Gingerly, he unhooked his fangs from her neck. She dropped like a rag-doll from his grasp. Her blood still tasted like fire in his mouth, reminding him of all the anger he'd felt towards her before. He didn't even bother to bury her. The crows can have her for all I care,
Tuvia returned to Apollo, no emotion or anyting else on his face. Tuvia felt very empty, hunger now clawing at his belly. "Why don't we go to that hotspring? My muscles have been very stiff lately after all," He said, happy at the idea of being able to relax. He wasn't so sure as to how the alpha of the land with the hotspring would recieve them, but he knew he needed to relax somewhere and what was more relaxing than a hotspring? Tuvia trotted off towards the hotspring, gesturing for Apollo to follow.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/size]
