How long has it been?
Too long, too miserable. Lost hope streamed through the nerves of his mind, swimming down into the pit of his slowing heart. Blistering heat of the sands made the pads of his paws feel like they were melting. Vee slowly walked his way into the boiling cave from the Pievunt-An, head lowered with vision slipping into the depths of his memories. He searched every end of the desert's territory, refusing to go any further. Vee couldn't contact the alphas of each land, he couldn't contact Avani wherever she may be, or even if she were still alive.
The stones of the cave were hot, like black pavement sitting in the hundred degree sun for many hours. Months since he'd seen her, his mate his love. His offspring inside her would be due any day. Was she ashamed of him? Did she never want to be with him, could this all be a false illusion in the hole of his desperate imagination. No, it was real. Irirangi and Alya were real, Kaoru was real, but missing as well. Could Kaoru and Avani ran away together? It was possible, they were of the same species. Vee couldn't think straight, hollowness in his mind only portrayed negative images. Vee was alone, and he would have to accept that.
The albino wouldn't give up, alive or not he would find Avani. He would travel at all ends of the continent searching for his beloved mate, his partner in ruling the Zahir lands. But Vee couldn't leave, he had a responsibility as an alpha, to take care of Iri and the departed Alya. Depression filling his mind the absence of Avani was the only thing keeping him alive and determined to find her. The picture of her death was only imaginary, it wouldn't be real in his mind. His lids closed over his liquidized red pools, as he dozed off in a restless sleep. Hoping when he awakens Avani would be by his side.
