Anger boiled in the she wolf’s veins as she stood on a precipice overlooking the great valley of the southern territories. How dare her little sister desert her and their brother in such a fashion? Tehrin had little doubt as to where her sister would be. She’s with Zethrox. But what bothered her the most was not her sister’s act of disobedience, but the fact that it was far too late for her to intervene. The plan was for the three siblings to enter Zethrox’s lands together and to become a part of their grandfather’s pack. Tehrin hadn’t wanted her sister to visit Zethrox alone in fear that she’d become emotionally attached to the alpha for it would surely cause more issues further down the road. But the skill of improvisation when plans go awry was innate in Tehrin, a trait passed down to her from her crafty father. She would have to reconsider all of her previous plans, plans that she had yet to introduce to her two siblings.
After learning of Akihra’s betrayal, Tehrin had stormed off in the heat of her anger, leaving Torrah on his own. At the moment her twin brother was the least of her worries, but she and Torrah would need to catch up with their sister sooner rather than later before it was too late to set Tehrin’s plans in motion. I’ll catch up with Akihra first, deal with the insolent brat and acquaint myself with my long lost grandfather. Then I’ll find Torrah. It was Tehrin’s priority to find her sister first and “remind” her of where her allegiances had better lie.
Tehrin had been traveling for quite some time now, but she’d be in the eastern territories and on Zethrox’s doorstep by the next day. But for now, she’d take a brief break and rest her legs and body. Akihra, you have no idea what’s coming for you. This wasn’t the first time that Akihra had shown rebellion towards Tehrin’s controlling nature, but it was the first time that Akihra’s rebellion had directly compromised one of Tehrin’s plans, one of Tehrin’s greatest schemes, one that she had been planning and anticipating for months now. But there was no way that Tehrin would let it end now, to quit. It wasn’t in her nature. I’ll make things right again. With that final thought, Tehrin let her eyes close for a brief nap.
