It had been great and all, having freedom and being able to do whatever, whenever he wanted, but he couldn’t stay like this forever. “Time to stop being a freeloader, and do something!” Mori stopped and sat a few feet away from the warm water, but close enough that the steam enveloped him completely. He had been on his own for a while now, and he needed to get his life started right away. He knew that he would never amount to anything if he just ran around and played all day. Letting out a sigh of relief, he lifted his head up to smell the air. His urge to run had seemed to shrink, and though that was good, the only way to control it was to run whenever it was possible, and running all day caused him to need rest frequently. He had only intended to stop and rest for a few minutes, but his body had other intentions, and it made them clear by refusing to move. “Hm… There’s a pack, somewhere around here…” He mussed. The smell of many wolves was strong, and with wolves, came opportunities. Looking around, he was quiet for a minute, thinking of what to say, before a smile worked its way onto his face. Leaning his head back one again, he let out a loud howl.“I call out to the alpha of these lands, meaning you no harm and hoping for a chance to join you, to prove myself worthy of your ranks, and help build you pack’s strength. I only wish to discuss how I would go about doing that.” Mori frowned as he thought more about the subject at hand. How would he join. Would the alpha and just say sure and the pack would welcome him with open arms? Would anyone in the pack even like him? Not to mention what would happen if he wasn’t allowed to join! He laid down, burying his nose in his paws and let out a small wine, His tail lay flat. Sitting like this for a while, a few minutes at the most, he forced himself to calm down. If anything like that happened, he would just have to try again somewhere else. Getting back up, he let out a yawn. Nothing to do but wait. |
