Cass made his way through the grass, a large expance of grassy hills stretched around him, inviting him in, but Cass knew better. Such things could get a wolf like himself killed. He was tired from days of walking and sat down out in the open, sniffing the air. Cass could tell that there were others, but he couldn't tell exactly where they were. He was on the boarders of a territory, Gypsy territory to be exact. He had heard of this pack, the way they worked reminded him alot of his birth-pack back on the mainland. Cass stretched and licked one of his fore-paws, loosening a stone stuck between the pads, ears alert for any noise. This pack could be hostile or welcoming, depending on the creature or mood of the alpha, nothing Cass wasn't used to. Finally the maned wolf stood lifted his muzzle to the cloudless sky. He felt a homey feeling here, and he hoped to join, but he wanted to make his presence known before truely getting into the area. He needed an escape route incase.
An eerie howl escaped his maw, drifting over the land, a call for a member of the gypsies, prefurably the alpha to meet him. The call of a loaner looking for a new family, for some hospitality and a small amount of welcome. He wasn't looking for much, just acceptance. He had allot to bring to the table, ability to hunt and fght for himself, and the ability to heal and the knowledge of healing plants. The howl quieted to a whisper then melted away as Cass lowered his head and looked around, waiting for one of the pack to greet him. Hopefully his politeness would be rewarded.
