Plot Outline
A strange bundle have wolves have happened upon Anikira... The wolves are not sure from where they came or what their intents are. However, these curious outsiders have drawn the attention of the southern packs. This gypsy wolf band, composed of all varieties of wolves, play on the pack wolves' emotions. Their seer promises to be the bridge between the dead and claims to know of their future. They are eager to incorporate themselves into Anikira in the only way they know how: conning its inhabitants. They venture to each pack, gaining the trust of as many as they can and offering their "skills" once the wolves are comfortable with them. They take residency in Tiayr, and wolves travel from all over the continent to seek their services.
But alas, they do not work for the Anikirians for free. The gypsies demand payment, in food, labor, and protection. Wolves offer to serve as guardians for the gypsies in exchange for their assistance. Slowly, the wolves appeal to the younglings. They tell exciting stories of their travels and the wonderful places around the world. Several are enticed into joining the gypsies, and some even go as far as to fall in love with the temptresses.
Even with the new additions, the gypsy band is not satisfied. It is not long until they feel that the packs are not adequately paying for their services. But the food sources are dwindling, and the packs are running out of ways to pay the gypsies. And so they begin to prey upon the pack wolves. Pups are stolen in the night, swept away, never to be seen by their parents again. The love-struck youngsters are blinded and cannot see the trickery that is going on right in front of them. They defend their new families, going as far as to turn their backs on their parents. Soon, the packs start to realize how foolish they were to trust the gypsies. But how can they get their pups back, rid themselves of the formidable wolves, and convince their younglings of the gypsies' deeds without having to fight with the ones they hold close to their hearts?
The History
Many years ago, a trio of wolf siblings were banished from their pack. These wolves had not agreed with the ways of their pack and believed that there was magic in the world that graced some, but not others. The fear of these beliefs prompted the pack Council to ostracize the siblings and stamp out any and all threats the young wolves may instigate. Alone with only themselves for protection and comfort, the trio set out in search of a place they could call home. They decided to try new lands thinking it would give them a greater advantage of being accepted; however, they were severely wrong. Every pack they encountered was cautious and wary of these new comers and often out right refused acceptance into their pack. A xenophobic alarm went up among the packs who swiftly closed their ranks to any and all outsiders. Eventually, the outsiders who had been rejected by the packs banded together to form a motley group of their own. There were wolves of ever size, shape, color, and breed. They had no physical land by which they could call home, but that no longer mattered. Now they had each other. The band itself was their home.
With no land of their own, these wolves took to traveling from place to place in a nomadic style. They were small at first, but as they trekked anywhere and everywhere, their numbers grew. Families were created. Members were gathered. There was so much potential within the pack, but they had no official leader who could keep order and peace among the miscellaneous group. Without a leader, they were merely a bunch of travelers who had little loyalty to one another, but to the pack as a whole. It would be necessary for them to love and accept one another to survive in this world together. Several strapping brute faced off in a friendly, yet competitive challenge to see who their new leader would be. However, there was a female among them who threw the band for a loop when she beat out the brutes and won leadership.
Under her leadership, the gypsy band began to settle down into a normal, traditional pack minus the land and plus the magical beliefs. Their beliefs, at first, were in home made potion remedies that were said to heal incurable diseases among other things such as having someone fall in love with you or putting a curse upon an enemy. However, it soon evolved into the belief that the spirits of the deceased could walk upon this earth and that it was possible to communicate with them via a wolf known as a ‘Seer’. The Seer was not chosen by the leader of the band, but instead by the spirits themselves. Often they were marked by the spirits to distinguish them from normal wolves. The Seer then became one of the most respected wolves of the pack.
Soon, the gypsy band was running out of places to go where they could keep themselves and not cause conflict between them and pack wolves. Valuable resources such as water and food were hard to come by. Knowing her pack may be in danger of dying off; the lead wolf had gathered a congress of her most trusted members, including the Seer but more so as a polite gesture. At the committee, no one seemed capable of conceiving an idea which could save the pack. That was until the Seer stepped up and spoke her mind. “We must use our abilities to help the pack wolves. We can offer them potions, their fortunes, healing remedies, or a conference with a deceased member. In return, we will ask for temporary shelter, protection, food, and water. We shall give to them what they want and receive what we need in return.”
As the years passed by, the Seer’s suggestion worked like a charm and was used for generations. Yet, the gypsy band became greedier as time wore on. Repeatedly they were not content with receiving only what they needed from the pack wolves. So they took and took until the pack figured out the scam and ran them off. They moved from pack to pack usually over staying their welcome. Eventually, their greed led to the conning of innocent packs. The gypsies cheated the pack wolves out of their resources then up and left without a warning once they had all they wanted. Over the years, the magical gifts some received vanished due to the wrong use of the abilities. Still, the gypsy wolves played it up and fabricated things to fulfill the void.
Arriving in Africa, the current day gypsy band found that there were little wolves to con on this particular continent. They traveled the coast looking for a way off the hot and desert continent and finally found one. After awakening one morning, the wolves found that a large, uninhabited, travelable land mass had appeared in the drained ocean. Chalking it up to human activity going awry, the wolves swam out to the land mass and traveled its length until coming to the end. They saw another mass out in the distance and traveled to that one. The process continued until they came across the one land mass that had what they were looking for. Packs.
The gypsy band had finally found the land of Anikira. With an abundance of wolves to swindle, the gypsies have decided to settle down for a while and do what they did best: use up the resources and then move on without a second glance.

We will also need several pack wolves that will run off with the gypsies, let me know if you are willing. There is no maximum to the number of wolves, though it should be limited to 2-3 tops from one pack to avoid anything too overwhelming.
