Lost in thought(closed to meridian/dihren/Raidne)

The sun was beating on his red pelt as he sat gazing in to the vast never ending sea. His thoughts, consuming him, with every passing second of where his life will go from here. A lone, with no one around him, lost in a world that is to harsh for any living creature but yet is beaming with life. He couldn't help but think of the rain that brings life to the barest parts of this planet, and wonders how this rain can both be a blessing is some parts of the world but yet a curse in others. This thought fascinates the deepest part of his buzzing mind and brings up even more questions that he will never answer but will always ask. His thoughts soon veered off from track of the rain that posses so many questions, and looked at the sky filled with birds of all sorts.

He gazed into the sky wondering if his deceased siblings were in a good place. Even though it has been two years since he was born, and a day never passed with out them on his mind. Those lonely nights with just his parents kept him thinking why, Why was he the one to live, What role does he possess in this world? More questions that he will never find answers to. To him his life is a big question, unaware of the meaning of everything. Standing up from the ledge that he was resting on Raidne took one more look at the sea and turned around to head to the sand that rested in the place where earth and water meet. His paws gently padded the ground that rested below him as he moved across the land below him. The wind seemed to be blowing from every direction. To him it was like a hug from the earth it's self, Consuming him in a warm yet chilled embracement. Still he kept moving to the meeting pace of the earth and water.

With every step he felt the earth breath, yes breath, The motion of the earth seemed to compliment his steps. To him he was in harmony with the planet that housed him. He soon came to his destination that he was longing for. Standing there one paw in the sea but yet on land. It fascinated him how the world can be so at peace. Just standing there made him feel like everything is alright but he knew it was all an illusion. What is my purpose of all this, why was i the one to live he thought to him self as he walked the line that separated the land from the sea. Nothing seemed to comfort the loneliness that burrowed deep inside of him. "Life is what?! Nothing but a dream,consumed in a mirage that we pursue real." He spoke to himself as he glared into the water that halted his adventure any further.

For the first time in recalled memory she had seen the world through clear eyes. And she had hated every minute of it. It was as if everything had been dulled, muted. The beauty of her world had been sponged away. And worst of all? No one had shown up to rescue her from the abysmal reality! Was not Kamari a claimed land? Home to the Haishin pack? So where were the wolves? Where were the creatures she so enjoyed toying with as if their lives meant nothing? Thrice she had walked upon those lands unbidden and thrice she'd faced no reprimand. Eventually, however, the hallucination that was her reality had dared to start up again. The colors of the trees became brighter, distorted, more pleasing to her senses. Her little dragonfly companion was back from his vacation as well. Purple in coloring and lithe as ever, the insect was something only she could see. It was her constant companion, a visual representation of her conscious (or lack there of). And now that it was back, Meridian felt as if she could breathe easier. She no longer had to work as hard to figure out where she was going or what she was supposed to do. The dragonfly whispered moraless directions and she pressed forward without question. That is how she'd ended up in Tiayr. Following what only she could see, the mixed blood navigated the twists and turns of mountain caverns like an old pro despite having never really explored them. Her subconscious, like usual, was in charge of her body. Her sense of smell, hearing, sight, had all been compressed into that tiny, fluttering, invisible bug and lead her onwards the way other wolves lead themselves. Such was the life of the schizophrenic, never seemingly in control of her body. If only she had heard the words of the male spoken just ahead, where water meets shore. Meridian's dreamworld was a nightmare to most and for her it was reality. The white femme finally stepped into the sunlight, the cavern falling away behind her as her paws met sand for the first time in days. Her stomach let out a soft rumble, alerting her that it was hungry. When was the last time she had hunted? Better yet, what would make a good meal for today? Slinking low to the ground, Meridian quieted her steps as her green eyes focused, senses sharpening. Still the dragonfly lead on, but this time it was not entirely in control. A mighty huntress, Meridian let nothing keep her from a successful kill. Now she just needed a target... There! The lone male stood by the water's edge, seemingly lost in his thoughts. Keeping down wind so as not to alert him to her presence, Meridian stalked. Closer, closer closer, she pressed onward, not stopping until she was mere meters behind him. A flick of her ears and a lick of her lips, she steadied herself, waiting for the perfect opening... She sprung! Powerful muscles rippled beneath her white pelt as she charged forward, leaping with grace, claws outstretched and teeth glistening with saliva. If the male did not move, he would easily become her next meal.

The breeze oh how wonderful it is as it flows through the air hitting his pelt with such ease. Raidne could feel the air around him every movement every flicker of change that consisted in the atmosphere, he seemed to have felt it. The Male was not much to look at nothing special, nothing out of the ordinary, just normal is what he pursues himself. Thoughts race through his head as he stood there thinking about one thing after another, never staying on the same topic more than a few seconds. If he were to speak his mind only his speech would make no since.

Closing his eyes Raidne just listened to the earth and all that inhabit it. The lovely sounds of the sea, wind, birds, the sound of the earth in general. Many others would question the sound of the earth and say it is not real, but they only say that because they don't listen hard enough. If you throw all things to the side and just listen to the earth you will encounter the most mesmerizing sound you had ever herd. This sound is said to put all those who hear it in to a trance of tranquility. Not many can conquer this skill. It takes time and a pure soul to master any bit of it, but once you do you encounter a world like no other, a world of piece. Where there is no fear, no worries, I guess that is why some call it their heaven on earth.

Coming out of his thoughts Raidne soon felt a change in the atmosphere. It just felt like a heavy vial had draped over him and all those around him. His ears pinned back listening to the sounds around him with tension. Something was off and he could feel it, not like a rock had fallen off in the distance but like something is about to go on in this region. His paw splashed the water as he continued to listen. It was about a minute or so when the tension rose to a all time high. He soon felt a different wind blow on him. He knew that it was some one else leaping in the air. With in a split second Raidne slid out of the way like he was part of the wind blowing from the west.

His eyes came on to this femme who laid stunned in front of him. His yellow eyes Glared at her in deep thought on why she was here, who she was, and what was the purpose of her attacking him. He lowered his head and sniffed the femme. Stepping off of her Raidne backed up to give her enough space that he thought she would need. The vibes coming from her were strange and he couldn't make anything of it. Shakeing his head he looked at her once more and spoke with a calm tone."What's the meaning of your actions you proceeded to do just a few moments ago?" He said as he walked around her.

Raidne studied every inch of her. She seemed like an ordinary wolf, but she was different and he couldn't put a paw on it. Maybe he should ask her but the situation and the timing would be morally wrong for a question of that sort. Stopping in front of her looking her dead in the eye Raidne smiled. He knew she was kind but was a bit confused on what the reason was that she attacked him. He Knew he could leave but he wanted to know who she was and anything else he could dig up on her through a conversation.

Today was abnormally warm. It was fall on Anikira and Dihren was sure that the warmth of the sun had been behind them but, like nature always does, it proved him wrong. Life seemed to enjoy proving him wrong. He had joined Isata, thinking that it would become the greatest pack of all and it had disbanded. He thought it would be cold today, he was wrong. He thought he would have been a hunter of some kind, wrong again. He had become a warrior instead. Dihren wondered when life was going to stop throwing his words back into his face.

Dihren had come back to these lands. It was heartbreaking really, seeing his home land being even more empty than it had been in the past. He had come back though, in order to retrieve some of his things that he had left here. But, he decided to take a detour and visit Rarizu Overhang. It had always been a favorite of Dihren's when he had lived here. He remembered coming here and looking out into the sea for hours at a time. Those were the good 'ol days. But, those days were gone.

When he had gotten to the place that he had remembered so dearly, he saw two other wolves there. He made no attempt at hiding. These were loner lands now and he was indeed a loner. They had no more of a right to be here than he did. Actually, he had more of a right. He had lived here in the past, this was his former homeland. But, he doubted that would mean anything to them.

He watched as a white female with a little bug flying around her..hunt? Another wolf? Were they friends or something and playing a game? At first, that was what Dihren thought but, then he heard the other male's words. He asked her what she was doing and his tone didn't seem so friendly. Dihren decided to not be friendly, he really didn't want to talk to anyone. He wanted to be alone with his special spot. He was hoping that the two would leave shortly so he could enjoy the peace and alone time that he so desperately needed. Maybe being a loner would be good for him. It would keep his anxiety from flaring up and he wouldn't need to talk to anyone. It was actually a better deal than what he originally thought. Maybe he would stay a loner for a while. He needed the time to think about things anyway and joining another pack wouldn't give him that time. Joining new groups of wolves was stressful on the former lead warrior.

So, he just stood and watched the two. He hoped that neither of them would notice him, even though he made no attempt at hiding himself. He just stood.

She knew only self-gain and the undeniable need to survive. Her family had abandoned her and her "friends" usually ended up dead by her paws, too fragile playthings that could not handle her rough treatment. No, Meridian was not kind. She was a monster who made sport of bloodshed and feasted on the flesh of her own kind. And she was downright pissed that she had missed. She missed! He had been so close, just within her jaws, and someone she had missed! Her jaws snapped shut with a click, closing around air, and she slid in the soft sand as she landed before turning to advance again. Tail held high, there was a predatory gleam in her eye. Whoever this stranger was did not matter. He would be her mean, end of story. She did not care that he was wolf, did not care that he might have family or loved ones, and most certainly did not care that he was trying to talk to her. The question barely registered in her mind as she continued to advance towards him on the attack. Very soon she would taste his blood and feast on his flesh. She was not a creature to be denied! "I'm hungry," she growled out, muscles wound tightly as she stalked in a circle around the male, eyeing up her prey. "You're lunch." There was a surprisingly childlike tone to the way she spoke. Innocent, wholesome. The young fae really did not know she was doing something wrong. She was hungry and here was a creature that could sate her desires. Beyond that nothing mattered. Beyond that, she really didn't care. Lunging again, this time from the side. If she could land the hit she would bowl him over and maybe crack a few ribs. If the male was smart he would run. Run and let her give chase. Meridian wanted one thing and one thing only. Blood. His blood. The hunt was afoot. Time to play her games.

Raidne looked at the Femme with great interest, He let out a smile he could tell that she was obviously hungry and she saw him as food. It was fascinating that she saw him as such, but he wanted to learn more about this entreating femme. She seemed to have a personality that he seemed to have a liking to. Raidne did not know what brought him to think as such towards this Femme but he knew that what ever it was is making him want to learn more and more of this Femme. Looking at her she was obvious that she wanted a chase but Raidne knew that fulfilling in her illusions could only make things worse.

He begun to circle the Femme and gently ran his tail over her back. She brought great interest to him, and he felt a little bit like having fun. He knew she wanted a chase and that she was a bit bigger than him and possibly stronger, but he had speed and swiftness on his side. he might just take this Femme on a chase that will sooth her interest. Raidne came muzzle to muzzle of this Femme and spoke"Chase is what you seek, and prey is what you desire, Prey is what i am not, but chase i can sooth that hunger. Follow in my lead and a meal will come your way soon enough" He spoke in a calm soothing tone and nudged her side and whispered in her ear."Chase me if you want and sooth that hunger you crave and follow me to a meal that you will soon engorge on."

Raidne smiled and ran his tail on her back once more and took off in to the distance. He seemed to float like the wind as he rand across the sand that linked them to the sea.He was thrilled with this Femme and was curious on what she will do on her response to his actions. He smiled to himself as he continued to run towards the wooded area, He had seen a good size meal for her and possibly him too. He wondered if that deer creature was still in that same region of the land. If not than more of them will soon come to the area, and she could find one that will suit them in a meal.

Meridian was a fairly lithe creature for her size but right now she was relying more on her muscle mass. She wanted to crush, kill, destroy. The cracking on bones would be music to her ears and the sweet taste of blood as she shredded the male into pieces would make her heart race with excitement. Crush. Kill. Devour. The femme had it in her head that this male would be her lunch and she would not rest until her hunger was stated. Either he would luck out and escape her powerful jaws as they tried to latch around his throat or he would fall at her feet, another day, another victim. And now it seemed he was on the offensive. Moving with him, Meridian was careful to never once turn her back on him. That would be an amateur's mistake and she was no novice. Quite the opposite, the mixed blood female was a master hunter. True prey was made quick work of. But predators? Now there was a real challenge. And hunting her own kind? Not only did she like the taste of canine meat but there was something thrilling in the feeling of ruining another much like herself. When the male stepped too close, Meri reacted on instinct. She lashed out again, trying to sink her teeth into anything she could reach. Muzzle, neck, side, tail. Oh how she would love to chomp down hard on his tail and rip it from his body. Especially the way he had the nerve to touch her with it! Her imaginary dragonfly hovered close to her ear, whispering a number of disgusting adjectives. Disgusting, filth, scum... Such a lesser piece of rotten meat had no right to touch a princess such as herself. The world would be better off without him! That's why the moment he took off running she gave chase immediately. This bastard would pay for the actions he had committed! He dared to ruin her pristine white body with his matted lesser lifestyle! Tonight he would die for his treasonous actions. Powerful limbs carried her forward, bounding across the land. Whatever game of tag the brute had in mind, she was not playing. Meridian had her own games and she made her own rules. And as she steadily closed in on him, she was going to make it painfully clear. One powerful leap and she was upon his back, ready to sink her fangs into his neck and take his life. Think fast, little rabbit. One wrong move and his life would be gone.

Running through the grounds he could hear the foot steps of the femme right behind him. He knew she was a bit crazy in the head but for some reason his heart was beating for her. Something about this femme made him crazy for her and he loved it. He loved everything about her, her mind, her fur, her eyes, everything. His ears twitched with delight as he could hear her.Oh how the world was beautiful everything in it from the sky the rested above his head to the small dirt under his paws he loved it all and the femme just made the world better. He did not know if he would make it out alive from this little incident but by the slitest chance that he didn't he would have fallen victim to the one who stole his heart.To tell the truth he did not mind that she was gorgeous and he only wanted to be with her no one else just her.

He knew that his life would be nothing with out that femme, and he loved her from the first time he laid eyes on her.If he would to die by the fangs of the one he loves he would not mind it, not at all.Without her in his life he would fall dead as a loner himself. He hoped that if this femme was to let him live and grown a love interest to him he was thinking of a new life with her a new pack that they run together but he knew he had to get her to see it and if they were meant to be it will happen.Raidne soon felt her land on him who was taller than her and longer than her but she was much heavier than he was.Turnning his head to see the white of her fur he smiled and leaped into the air with her on his back.Raidne tried to shake her off of him he was hoping that she would fall off him.

Raidne begun to speak to her"Kill me if you please, I know I shouldn't have touched you, I know it was wrong to do that without your premission.The truth is I love you, I love everything of you, your eyes, your fur, your personality. It all is outstanding and you are an outstanding wolf.I can only see you in my life, us together forming a pack a family.But I can't force you to do anything that you don't want to do.So if I can't have you in my life my life is not worth living. So kill me if you want to I don't mind it, just note this I like you for who you are and nothing can change that." He said as he stood there waiting for her to make her decision he knew if she killed him he would not have to live a second without her and he rather do that then never be with her again.

Meridian was neither a creature of love, compassion, nor charity. She did not care about feelings, not when she could barely identify what she herself felt half the time. What mattered was control, the ultimate control. Her heart belonged only to herself and the virgin princess planned to keep it that way. And oh, how she loved to play god. How she loved to take the life of another and watched them squirm and bleed out before her very eyes. There was something satisfying in watching the life fade out of another creature. It was empowering. It reminded her of exactly how insignificant these puny creatures were. In her kingdom, only she reigned supreme and she would dispose of the others as she saw fit. And with Raidne running his mouth, it left him defenseless to her attack. Meridian hit the ground with a thud as he threw her off, but it was moments later that she was back on her feet and attacking again. This idiot was a sitting duck. Better yet, he was begging her for death! Only three little words stood out in his rambling rant of nonsense. "So kill me." He was asking for it. In the mixed blood femme's mind he was begging her for death. And, she was more than happy to oblige. Lunging forward, the white colored female sunk her jaws into the poor male's tender neck. A sharp tug and her fangs sliced through him, tearing veins and ruining his chance for life. Hungrily she stood over his limp body, watching as Raidne slumped to the ground, bleeding out too fast for anyone to save him. And then he was dead. The light went out in his eyes and the silly male was no more. For a moment Meridian stared down at the male, curious as to if he would try one last time to fight. But the deed was done. The kill had been too easy and the blood that stained her once white coat was that of disappointment. Hunting her own kind was supposed to be fun! Unhappy with the flesh of a coward, Meridian moved a little closer to the corpse and squatted, leg lifting in a sign of dominance. A moment later a stream of pee washed over the unfortunate male. What was more derogatory to a corpse than to lay claim to its death? She had killed this bastard and she was proud of it. And everyone would know she was a force to be reckoned with. She was a heartless princess in a land ripe for the taking. Kicking Raidne in the head, one last attempt at some damage, the female then moved on. She had better things to do than hang around a urine soaked corpse. Her stomach was still hungry for the flesh of another. Hopefully her next target would be more of a fight.
