Once Faolan had stepped back, Lucian couldn't help but smile. The fact that she pointed out she was capable of surviving on her own made him feel more grateful she agreed to travel with him. She could have abandoned him at the tree. She could have never even came to the tree. But she did, and now I am not alone.
I didn't mean to upset you, I just wanted to make it sound like I would actually be doing something important, I am not as keen a hunter as you, leaves are all I got. But if you want to do both our jobs, be my guest. He let out a small hummed laugh, then he walked around the den looking for a bright spot in the now fogged sky. Since you know so much, we can teach each other, I teach you what my parents taught me, and you an teach me all the things you learned in your travels. He found the bright area in the clouds, and new, it being morning, that it was in the east.
There's the sun, it rises in the east, south is this way. He said and walked in the direction he deemed south a short distance and paused to wait for Faolan. Let us have a little competition, see who has the best survival smarts, who ever teaches the most at the end of our tour of Anikira wins.
He wondered in his head if he was serious about the competition or if he had just brought it up as a challenge. A competitive relationship is fine with me, as long as it does not bring us to each others throats. He glanced back at Faolan for a few seconds.
I am definitely not a fighter, even in her current state, I would lose. It was noticeable that neither of them had much rest, and that she had endured a lot of strain lately. Lucian was light weight compared to average Timber wolves, and has no real wolf to wolf combat training, Faolan needed shelter that one time, and I have been relying on her strait after the fire, I need to do some extra credit so I don't become more a burden then a friend...
OOC:: I really need to fix the table Word count: 396, I think, I kinda just glanced at it...
