It may have been foolish of the female to back track slightly; yet, after the run in she held with another wolf, the femme decided rest was not always a bad thing. After all, she had been ever so exhausted lately, maybe it was needed to just relax for a bit. Thus, the Mexican femme had wandered towards the large river she had heard earlier. A nice drink and maybe a quick nap, then she would be on her way once more! The journey would continue until no longer she would be alone. Her training would begin and all would float on in the exact dream she planned. Wearily the female lay down, her brown optics watching the river. Nashira could never quite understand why rushing water was so soothing, nevertheless she was enjoying it. By now the sun was sitting quite lower in the sky, and the moon could be seen poking about in the sky. There was still a few hours left of daylight before darkness reigned upon these lands.
The female outstretched her front legs, enjoying the mist that sprayed against her paws from the water. Slowly the pleased grin grew upon her features. 'Sometimes I really believe I am my only friend, and that is how it always will be.' These thoughts did not bother the female in the slightest, quite the contrary actually. She truthfully enjoyed the silence, the lack of arguments and disagreements; however, that did not mean that the female did not want socialization at all. A certain part of her mind had settled itself into denial, pretending to be happy by the lonely life she had led since the death of her mother. A depressed groan escaped the female's lips, 'what if Hadrian isn't there?' The thought was enough to make the female nearly break into tears, yet she was not quite that fragile. The sorrows swarming within her stomach were going to continue to be held there. The female was a warrior, just because times were difficult did not mean that she was going to break down.
Shifting onto her side the female realized that the insomnia she was suffering from was real. The female was amazed by the exhaustion she was experiencing; however, sleep or relaxation seemed the farthest thing from her mind. A certain tension slunk over the female's body for a moment, and Nashira instantly righted herself into a very stiff seated position. "What the hell," she grumbled underneath of her breath, thoroughly agitated with the way that her alone time was turning out. It seemed that all she was able to do was dwell upon the future or the past, instead of enjoying the present. The female was quite goal-oriented and was not exactly used to permitting herself time away from the hunt. Life was a constant search, hoping and praying that she would find the answer to all of her questions. The War God would most certainly bring her that.
The female quivered her auds quickly, had she heard something? Brown optics darted rabidly across the lands, the female swore that something was sneaking up upon her. Seconds later, a small bird took flight from some lengthy prairie grass that covered the ground. Orbs followed the bird in its ascent to the clouds above, watching it disappear. 'Sometimes I wish it were just that easy,' nerves had begun to get to Nashira. Whenever she was alone now it seemed like the emotional warfare began. Was she tough and stoic? Or just a depressed little girl? The Mexican femme was confident that she was a warrior, none had ever shown her any other way. Her guard slipped down to normal and the female laughed softly to herself, hoping that no one truthfully was watching her. It would embarrass the female quite a bit to have another see her little fright. Grinning softly, the female averted her attention back towards the rushing water. Gracefully permitting her anxiety to slip away, to drown beneath the rushing blue.
