A small snow white she-wolf climbed her way up onto a low outcropping that was just a foot above the water. Her body was drenched from head to tail from swimming in the ocean for so long. Her legs slightly shook from being without food for quite a few days, only have having a small portion of prey from Africa, where she had followed her nose from.
Her nose twitched as she took in the salty air as waves crashed against the outcropping, drenching her even more with each wave. Multiple scents flooded into her nose and it took her a little while to separate the different scents. The smell of saltwater was almost overpowering for her since she had been surrounded by for so long. Once she could stand the smell and get it out of her system she was able to make out the smells of the island. Her stomach growled loudly and she jumped from the sudden noise.
She looked up to see if there was any way to get to the island itself. She knew that she needed to get some food in her soon or else she wouldn't have the energy to try anything. As she looked her head cocked to the side as she found herself what looked like a stairway up to the clifftop. The outcroppings were a few feet above each other but she knew she could manage jumping from one outcropping and up to the next in no time at all. It was just like climbing the icebergs in her home continent.
She tensed her back legs and leaned back before launching up to the next rock face. She continued doing this until she was up to the cliff top, where she stopped and sat down, panting hard. Her snow white pelt was semi-dry from jumping through the air.
A she caught her breath she stood again and shook out her pelt, sending drops of water scattering through the air and landing about her. She vigorously shook her head and then sent the shake down her body and all the way down and through her tail. She did this until she was dry then looked around at her surroundings.
She sniffed the air, smelling the hills that were a little ways away from where she was currently sitting. She also smelled a rabbit a few yards away and she started towards it, her stomach rumbling in agreement with her mind which was currently set on hunting down the rabbit that she would eat and she would then hunt for more food until she was full.
