The days were passing by, it seemed that the Oriens were really her new home. Something about it still felt strange and welcoming at the same time. Change was finally gaining true acceptance into the muscular Mexican female. Her god had become her father and now she held a place within a pack. Nashira had never believed that she would find herself content among others. A life of mostly isolation made this rebirth a bit strange. Unintentionally the female had avoided this new family, all except Hadrian of course. The pack hunt had been a bit intimidating to the subordinate at first, even if she remained calm on the exterior. Now, what purpose did she have? There really was not much for her to be doing, she essentially trained herself privately and hunted alone every so often. Pack life was supposed to be so much more than this, Nashira was not sure how to bring herself to socialize with the others for it seemed they avoided her just as much. Maybe not directly, but certainly she had not been sought out by any of them.
The blazing sun had just kissed the sky good night as she disappeared beyond the horizon. For nearly an hour the russet creature had remained upon her haunches with brown orbs staring blankly at the beautiful hues playing around. She had been confined to thought, deeply concerned if Amar wanted her or what to do with herself. Despite her stoic, overly unemotional exterior, she longed for a companion. Even if they did not share their innermost secrets, one in which she could slightly trust and casually converse with. Perhaps that was too much to ask for, her demands could be far too high. The first movement occurred within the female's tail, a gentle twitch before it swung itself free. Her frame had been rigid, previously her tail had been cuddling with her right paw. Nashira never left herself open for an attack, even if her tail no longer held feeling. 'Where has Father Hadrian gone?' Her mind was fairly positive that he was still somewhere within Amar, but the female had not brought herself to search for him again.
A sigh rolled from her tongue before the femme permitted herself to lay by the water, it was relaxing enough that perhaps sleep would drown her as the oceans had nearly done. The adventure to Anikira had been quite a long one, and the search to find Hadrian had consumed even more of her time. Neither were wasted efforts as pride pulsed relentlessly throughout her. At least she had given up a familiar nothingness for something worthwhile. Now she at least had her father, something that the female never imagined would happen. The war god and her father were one - they belonged to her. 'Do the others even matter?' she knew that they did, even if she disguised it well. If Amar was in need Nashira would be there doing everything within her power to protect them. Even if that meant an early retirement. If Hadrian believed in these canines then she would too.
The gentle whispering of the water was soothing to her tormented soul, it nearly sounded like a lullaby to her weary audits. After all, she could never let her guard down. From now until the end of her days, she would be expecting the unexpected. It gave her now still life more of an edge, and ensured the others' safety. The terrain was flawless and relaxing; although, her muddy optics were biased with inner joy. Searching was over for now, this was the place that she lived. No more would she be rushing around, persistently expecting herself to be mauled by some foreign beast. At least there was some sense of security within her existence, 'maybe that's enough.' Life would never be some flawless action novel, there were periods of rest. This was simply one of those times within her life, an opportunity to build friendships that she had never known before. Nashira did not dare get herself too excited for company, tonight would surely be another one spent alone within herself.
Childhood dreams exploited themselves even when she wished them to stay away. Often she now found herself wondering about Hadrian and Rhea. What truly had conspired between the two? Somewhere between both canines' stories would be the truth. Maybe her mother had felt similar to herself, awkward and alone. Either way, the mother had taught her daughter a valuable lesson, one that had saved the younger female's tail on many occasions. Play nice as long as possible, yet never release your guard. To this day the femme could not really trust another, besides her father, there was too much room for betrayal. All of these canines pledged themselves to Kiddo, not to each other.

After talking with Kiddo and being accepted into Amar, Galdar set off. He went over the Kinath and into the forest, he was parched and figured that he might stumble onto Hadrain along the way. Following his nose he quickly caught the scent of fresh water and headed towards it. As he came closer to the water Galdar caught the smell of Hadrain, he was glad to have found his scent. Galdar was also glad that the ground had enough of a dusting of snow to quite his steps, as he did not want to disturb anyone who may be around.
As Galdar got closer to the pool, the smell of Hadrian began to change. Slowing down his pace he started to look around to find out what had Hadrian's scent on it. She was not hard to spot, she was a brown wolf laying next to the pool. Galdar sat down softly and watched her with curiosity, she seemed deep in thought, almost lost. Even though she was tied up in thought, she kept her body guarded as if she was expecting to be attacked. He thought it best not to startle her, so he started walking towards her with heavy foot falls.
When Galdar came to the edge of the forest next to the pool he cleared his throat. "Hi, I'm Galdar. If you do not mind some company, may I join you?" Galdar said in a gentle voice. Keeping in the same position as before he decided to talk. He did not want it to seem as though he was trying to sneak up on her. He looked closer at her, She looks quite a lot like Hadrain he thought to himself. I wonder if she is somehow related to him. Galdar pondered as he waited for her to acknowledge him.
Audits detected sound even when her mind was wandering. They quivered a few times, yet the gentle padding sounds of the brute were ignored. The sound simply drifted into one ear and out of the other. Pictures of her darling mother were still rolling through her head, thoughts of being a puppy. How many times had she stared at Hadrian from afar? The surreal feeling still was foreign to her body. The brute that had been idolize and worshiped turned out to be her sire. Life did have a strange way of mixing things up, just when she thought she knew what to do. Maybe she never would train beneath the brute, but that was okay now. A few weeks ago, the thought would have shattered her bones and enraged the Mexican to no end. Presently she felt a bit confused, but significantly less alone.
It took a few footfalls before her muddy orbs snapped away from their zone. Immediately the femme was on edge, she had lived through war before - nothing would capture her off guard now. Smell did not matter, her keen eyesight had saved her ass on multiple occasions. Hardly did the femme notice that her orbs had adjusted to the darkness, pure vision ran across the land. Scanning took only seconds, the canine was located. Even with his ebonite pelt, she knew how to spot life from the non living. Rigid, she did not flinch as the brute continued his approach. Although he appeared to be friendly, his stance was certainly not threatening, Nashira could not trust that he had innocent intentions. Only when the brute came within a few feet of her did she finally turn her head, still silent, to face him.
This brute had been absent from the hunt, even though Nashira did not know if all of the pack members had been present. After all, it seemed that they avoided most of the places she went. 'A trespasser?' the thought had meandered into her mind since the moment her gaze fell upon him. Only in times such as this did the olfactory sensor really become useful. The subordinate could barely tell if the brute carried the scent of Kiddo upon him or if it was merely the terrain around her. Her weight shifted away from the brute slightly, a subconscious action performed more out of habit than anything else. Being close to another canine was rather foreign to her, distance had always been something of comfort. It reminded the subordinate that she could care for herself, she relied on nobody but herself - until now. Amar and Hadrian had changed her life and she had yet to adapt.
His words resonated throughout her mind, they were significantly more friendly then she expected. Nostrils flared as the female attempted to differentiate the pack boundaries and this canine before her. With a quiet exhale, the female opted to believe he was within her pack - that would not prevent her from asking. "Greetings," the words slipped from the multi-hued female's mouth blandly, as if they'd grown stale from her time contemplating. "I do not mind company at all, are you among the ranks of Amar alongside myself?" Her curiosity was genuine, even if it hardly sounded as such. Simply she was not used to holding legitimate casual conversation. Friends had never existed within her world despite her silent longing.
The Mexican female had never released her guard to any, until Hadrian, and she planned on keeping it that way. After all, only her mother had given the female a reason to. Even so, Rhea had been rough upon her pup and ensured that she was a blank slate. It had protected Nashira in many ways, but now she was empty and confused. Perpetually wondering what was next for her in life. The quest was fulfilled, Hadrian had been successfully located and was a regular part of her life. She knew not if there was any more, if Kiddo even cared enough to see her fighting abilities. One of the few things she held great pride in seemed to matter so little. 'You're over analyzing everything, knock it off,' her thoughts were ignored in the same way Galdar had been. Focusing upon him permitted the confusion to fade slightly, after all she needed to study the brute's every movement.

Galdar continued walking towards her until he was just a foot or two from the unknown female. "It really does not seem that you would care for much company from the tone of your voice. To answer your question yes I am part of the Amar pack." Galdar let the tone of his voice convey his annoyance at the female's demeanor and question. "May I ask your name?" He said, thinking to himself, normally when one introduces one's self to another they give their name back. Though he did not dwell on his thought, he stared intently into the female's eyes. As if to search her soul, his eyes stared with such intent that they may be easily mistaken for turning cold.
Galdar turned to where his right front shoulder was towards the female, so if she went volatile he could use the thick muscle that covered his shoulder to cushion the blow. After analyzing her, he decided that even if she got in a good blow she would not cause any serious damage. "You seem to be on edge, do you take me as a threat?" He asked the female seriously. If she seriously takes me as a threat then god help her if she decides to attack me. She is smaller and may be more agile but it would take her far more to beat me than she would be able to stand in retaliation. Galdar thought to himself, and found it slightly amusing and annoying at the same time.
After staring at the female some more, Galdar noticed she looked remarkably like Hadrian. Whom was the entire reason he was here in the first place, he reminded himself. "You look a lot like a wolf whom I owe more than a little debt of gratitude to. You also have his scent on you, which is the reason why I have come and invaded your privacy. I was looking for him so I could see if there was a way I could repay my debt to him, perhaps by helping him gather herbs." He said to the female, stating why he had come and intruded on her thoughts in the first place.
Not liking eating with the others too much, Wisp wandered towards a pool she had located in her canvas of the Amar pack territory. Deer had never been her favorite food. Strangely enough, she preferred fish. In contemplation Wisp wondered if that had anything to do with why her pack hadn’t cared for her all that much. Am I just too different? she thought to herself.
She hadn’t really cared that her first pack didn’t like her. But now that she had joined Amar, her thought patterns had changed. It was like she hadn’t known what she was missing. She thought of the hunt with the others. For the first time she had hunted like a wolf that belonged to a pack. She had studied other packs all her life, but had never participated. She had never known how good it could feel. As she walked her tail wagged, almost as if she were a puppy again.
Then, on the breeze she found a familiar scent, one that she hadn’t encountered since she first joined Amar. The scent was accompanied by the scent of one of her new packmates. Another that had joined recently, like she had. But Evuwisp couldn’t quite place which wolf it was yet. Looking confused, Evuwisp stopped wagging and crept through the brush to find Galdar speaking with Nashira. Her name came back to Evuwisp as she listened to Galdar. By his words, he was also a new packmate of hers. Evuwisp pulled her lips back and let her tongue fall out one side of her mouth as she came through the brush to say hello. She wouldn’t admit it, but she had kind of missed her rescuer after she had joined Amar. After her acceptance they had gotten separated.
Well look who it is, Galdar, a familiar muzzle if ever I saw one. How are you Galdar? What happened after I left the beach? Why didn’t you join in the hunt? Evuwisp gave a short wag to her tail and looked at Nashira. This guy is alright. He is the reason I’m not surrounded by humans, or dead. Sorry to intrude Nashira, I just had to say hello to this guy. Turning back to Galdar, Evuwisp smiled, Welcome friend. There was much more weight when Evuwisp said friend than in any other world she had spoken since she had come to Anikira.
Looking between Nashira and Galdar, Evuwisp got an idea. Would either of you like to go fishing with me? I didn’t really claim much of the venison and am still a little hungry. This pool has some pretty big fish in it if you are a skilled fisher.

Nashira found herself quite displeased by the brute's next statement. 'So this is how he speaks to those he does not know? If all of Amar is like him I'd be happier with only father for company.' It took all of her control to prevent the growing irritation from becoming visible. Under most circumstances she was not an easy canine to anger, but disrespect was something she did not tolerate. It seemed Galdar did not know how to greet another, kindly anyway. Even if her greeting was distant, the Mexican believed that she had not been rude to the other. Being stoic was simply within her nature. She had not been raised to communicate her innermost thoughts and emotions, this brute did not deserve special treatment that no others received. She bit her tongue on the thought of retorting with a snide remark, this brute could prove to be the violent type. It was a risk that Nashira was not willing to take, being kicked from Amar would mean being without Hadrian once more. He was all she had.
Her head tilted to the side and audits flickered a few times as the brute proceeded speaking. Offering names had never been her idea of fun, after all it was a close part of herself. An additional item that she would not be giving to those who were unimportant - or at least made them self such within her mind. "I said what I meant, I do not mind the company of another. I simply knew not who you were," once more her cold vocals rang out. An irritated flicker of her tail commenced, Galdar did not seem as if he wanted to be around her. 'If I am so burdensome I can merely wander off,' yet her own pride would not permit her to relinquish the place of relaxation. She had merely been trying to clear her mind, sort out the madness within.
At last, a sign of her being a true life form flowed from her maw - a laugh. It was still dry and insensitive, but it gave off her reaction to the brute's following remark. "No, there is no need to worry about someone like you. If you are a true Amar member then why should I fret?" Thus far, the members of Amar had provided her with little reason to believe that they would attack their own members for no reason. She had done absolutely nothing to receive violence from him, but if he wanted to fight - then she would devour. Her size may have been smaller, but the femme knew what she was doing. Muscles did not show their definition from beneath her fluffy pelt for no reason. As Galdar mentioned her father a noise distracted her ears. She heard his remark, but could barely muster a response. 'More of them? I pray they aren't so cruel hearted,' muddy optics looked past the other canine. She desperately wished that this would have been another night alone. Then she would not have to deal with a canine that seemed to find her of little value.
She was quite insulted that he inquired if she found him a threat. Even if she did the words would never leave her mouth. One did not let the enemy know that they are intimidated, that let them have all control. That was one thing about Nashira - she never offered the upper hand to another canine. Even when she knew that they had it. It took several moments before his words sunk into the grey matter cradled in her skull. 'Did he just say I look like my father?' Heart beats fluttered within her chest and a pleased sensation warmed her icy anger slightly. For a split second she doubted the harshness of the wolf before her. "Do you mean sir -" she found her own words interrupted by the voice of the previously noticed canine.
Crania swiveled to observe the female carefully, it was one that she knew from the hunt. For a moment the other creature's name had distanced itself from her memory, but she was able to retrieve the file with some thinking. Slowly she nodded her head at Evuwisp, "Hello again Evuwisp," her tone remained rather emotionless still, but slightly less harsh when speaking with the female. It seemed that Evuwisp trusted Galdar, but that gave her little reason to. Obviously they knew each other, his kindness did not necessarily reach out towards herself. The weight of the other female's greeting was noted in the Mexican's mind, 'of course they know each other.' It would just have to be that she would go from relaxing to being a third wheel within their conversation. Opting to remain silent she distanced her gaze over the water, not bothering to finish her prior statement that had been interrupted. She had little faith that Galdar cared what she believed, even though she wanted friendship.
Desperately the subordinate wanted a canine to rely on and speak with, not even a mate. Someone who would be there for her, she had her father but a friend seemed too much to ask for. All the members of Amar seemed to have little interest in her, which only made the femme want to withdraw more. If her life was not important to them, there was no reason to make them carry any weight either. She shifted slightly, casually observing the two canines wondering if her silence was wrong.
