Darkness engulfed him again, rolling him until he didn't know which way was up. He was at the seas command and there was nothing he can do about it. Kicking as much force as he could muster, but the surface seemed to be getting no closer. swallowing a mouthful of salt water the grey wolf burst from the surface, splattering for air, only for the towering of water to crash upon him again. Solo's body was wrecked, bruised and worn, noway could he continue this, so he did what was the most easiest thing to him. Giving up.
His draining body floated with the current of thrashing waves, but no longer did his lungs scream for air, no longer did his head ache, no longer was he alone. Eve was just like he remembered her, flowing grey fur with sparkling young green eyes, always full of hope and prosperity. Although she was just a drowning memory she lit up the sky for him, she was his world and forever she will be with him, till they will be together again before Frinta and Droano eyes. Solo never wanted to leave, he wanted to join Eve in the world which she had left for. Now his mind was no longer in thought, no longer could he feel pain. He was drifting into sleep he would never wake from, the last thing he saw before sleep took him was the rippling surface above him lighten up.
The Lear's eyes were glued together and took some time to open fully and when he did finally open, his blue iris contracted edmedetly to focus the blazing red sun that shone low in the sky. Before him lay miles of open sand and lashing water, licking his dry lips he pushed his long legs beneath him and hauled himself up, but once he was off the ground his stomach came up to greet him. The sour mix scared his throat and left a bitter feeling in his mouth. With a huff he slumped back down to the ground, feeling the soft whirl of water around his back legs and how it dragged his tail back. The corner of his eyes were blinded by black spots and his head was like a volcano about to erupt.
Why do you keep pushing me away from the world you have gone to, Eve? His lips murmured silently to himself.
His ears felt like they were going to pop and his eyes still stung from the salt spray that was being thrown from the small waves that lapped at his feet. His nose twisted side to side in vain, it always made him sad when he knew he was missing out on something big, like the smell of grass in the morning and the scent of a fresh carcass nearby, but he was quite glad he couldn't smell the stench next to him now.
Thirst clawed his throat and hunger gnawed his belly, and the need for life was stronger than the need to rest. Pushing himself up, his ears turned to the side as two noisy wolves were trotting toward him. As the grey wolf watched them like a hawk he took in every detail of them, there stocky bodys, short legs, purposely walk, aggressive frame, they were ready for action.
When they were close enough to be heard by Solo, they yelled out a aggressive growl Hey! You! What you doing on our beach! They approach with no resect and both were way more chunky than Solo, but they were short and both seemed a bit annoyed about this. I have simple washed up here Solo replied with calmness and confidently, he had no time for these types of wolves and his head still ached. But these wolves seemed to have no intention of backing down, as Solo watched one move a little to the side. Smart mouth, eh? Well we'll get that out of you after were done with ya! The smaller of the two replied with cockiness as he stood before Solo. Before Solo had the chance to turn the larger of the two was already behind him and lunged with surprise quickness for a fat wolf like him, sinking teeth into his soft flank. But when Solo turned to grab the wolf by the throat, he had already retreaded to a safe distance out of Solo's reach. Without him knowing the smaller one had lunched for his throat, he was slow but Solo was dizzy and still dissonanted so he only had time to raise himself a little out of the wolf jaws, only to connect with his chest. Within seconds he the attack was in full swing.
The attack only lasted for a few minutes, but two vs one was a different matter. Solo size was lighter, and they easily pinned him down. Solo was stuck and had no way out, since the bigger one now sat upon him, his large butt digging painfully into his ribs. Got him, Right Ricky? The large one asked his friend whos name was Ricky. They had all got a few scratches there and then and Solo had caught Ricky below the eye with his claw, and the wound was a angry red. Ricky seemed to ignore his partner. Now what to do with you, eh? He said bitterly into Solo brushed face Gord, you know what to do, we dont take kindly to intruders He addressed sharply, turning his head in pride, like he owned the place.
Throwing his head back into the sand and letting out a groan, Solo tryed to think of a way out of this. Gord, seemed to be quite stupid and followed every word from Ricky. Ricky on the other hand was as quick as a hare, his eyes never leaving his surroundings but he was much skinnier and had left all the fighting to Gord. Solo wasn't stupid, but still every time he replayed the situation in his head, each time he would either get another beating or worst getting killed. Gord shock himself, spraying salt water everywhere, then turned to Solo, a crimson smirk playing on the corners of his lips.
