A single, estranged female strayed from her home for the first time since birth. The feeling was foreign and uncomfortable to Edrianna; it had always been within Tiayr's borders that she dwelled, and venturing beyond that invisible border was both terrifying and infuriating. The rage that settled in Edrianna's heart was festering and growing with each step outside her home lands. The female was set on making Amar pay with each passing day for bringing her such hurt. She would remain here in Caurus and return to Tiayr regularly. Perhaps she could take out some of the alpha male's pack members. He would not fare well against her if she was the only opponent. In fact, that was the only reason the female did not stand against the alpha male. With so many wolves standing behind him, he could have done whatever he pleased. The female knew in her heart that even if she challenged his rank and authority there, the other wolves would not have respected the rules of alpha challenge. Perhaps if his numbers started to dwindle, she could make her move and reclaim Tiayr. Maybe she could even convince a member of Amar to turn against their ruthless alpha. There was no kindness, no compassion in Kiddo's heart. It would end up being the death of him, and she could feel no sorrow for the brute's impending death. She would do everything in her power to make sure that he rued the day he drove her from her home.
It was only once she grew weary from her intense thinking that Edrianna looked around her. The place in which she found herself was interesting to say the least. The ground was littered with the red buds of spring flowers. It was a sign that life was starting to return to Anikira, and that brought a little hope to the Mackenzie Valley female. Eventually, she would return home to Tiayr and this would all just be water under the bridge. Until then, she would stay in this mediocre, lackluster land and keep herself alive. No wolf could match her hunting prowess, and she would use that to her advantage to exact revenge against the pack. It may have been foolhardy to believe that a single wolf could take down a pack's legacy, but perhaps she could find others who had been wronged by the packs of the continent to aid her in her endeavors. She could not be the only one Amar harmed in their greediness. She surely was not the only loner that called Tiayr home.
Only after patrolling the flowery ground for quite some time did Edrianna get the feeling that she was not completely alone. It was not quite the feeling that someone was watching her, but rather that there was something she should have noticed but did not. Lowering her snout to the earth, she inhaled deeply, her brow furrowing in frustration as she scanned the horizon. What was giving her this strange, nagging sensation? A few more steps brought the female to her answer.
Not ten yards from her previous location, a fluffy wolf laid unconscious amongst the flowers. With hesitation in her steps, the Mackenzie Valley femme yipped to alert the wolf to her presence, just in case she was simply asleep. She observed the wolf for a few moments longer, then padded closer to investigate. She had little knowledge of healing, but perhaps she would be able to rouse the wolf from her slumber or unconscious state. The female shoved her snout against the female's side, shoving somewhat roughly to stir her before leaping back and staring down anxiously. Would she awake? Edrianna sighed.
Why was she trying to do anything for someone else? No one ever did anything for her. She was tired of the solitary life. Maybe she was just looking for some temporary company, or maybe she still had the kindness her parents endowed in her all those months ago. All she knew was that she could not, in good conscience, leave an unconscious wolf vulnerable in the meadow. She was surely someone's daughter or mate. There had to be someone looking for her, and all she wanted was to help the stranger get where she planned to go, no strings attached.
