History:
It was the perfect love story. Toiro and Aludra first met when the white arctic arrived in Airila lands requesting to join the small pack. The two wolves liked each other from the start, but were far too shy to admit the stirring feelings. In fact, they were so good at hiding it from each other that each thought the other couldn’t possibly like them that way in return. But slowly, hesitantly, their relationship developed, through small subtle ways such as letting their fur touch when they were alone together. After all, actions were easier to express than words.
Eventually, after increasingly spending more and more time with each other, their love was shyly confessed and confirmed. At the realisation that they held the same feelings for each other, both wolves were thrilled at the perfection they had found; it was a dream come true. Not long later, Aludra came into in heat, and their words turned yet again to actions, this time those of passionate love.
With her knowledge as a shaman, and Toiro doing his best to ensure that she receive the best care available, the pregnancy went smoothly and a litter of four pups was brought into the world, none of them stillborn, and even the runt in good condition. Indeed, Swan and her siblings had the blessing of being born into a loving family, supported by the members of the Airila pack and never running short on food or care.
Personality:
Swan’s perfect peaceful life is actually a bit of bore to the active young pup, and she will do almost anything she can to relieve this, the more perilous and exciting the better. She has an undeniable curiosity, which can at times land her in trouble, and she feels the desire to know about everything, liking to watch the warriors training and the gatherers preparing herbs even though her heart is already set on becoming a huntress. Adventurous and outgoing, Swan is no coward in the face of danger (or so she likes to think) and is eager to try new things. But despite her restlessness with their peaceful lifestyle, she loves her family dearly and would never wish danger upon any of them.
As daughter of the alpha, she holds great pride in her pack, believing them superior and unconquerable. In her mind, Airila is where all the most perfect kind-hearted wolves in the world are, which unfortunately means it takes a while to gain her trust and loyalty as she is suspicious of every unknown stranger (even loners who are accepted after her birth will receive this wary treatment until they have proven themselves to her). However, this attitude will likely fade as she grows older, as she is very interested in the lives of others and will probably discover that loners aren’t as different as she thinks they are.
When Swan gets older, she will be beautiful like her mother, and the grace she walks with will add to her allure. As a puppy she is rather rambunctious, but is already beginning to adopt the quieter attitudes of her parents, especially in formal situations. This is one of her highest desires; she greatly admires her mother and father, not only for the positions they hold and their good looks, but also for their gentle manners and noble ways.
