"Where are you going, piece of filth?"
"Leave me alone, Turok! What have I done to you?"
Inaya ran, with tears streaming down her cheeks. Her pupils were dilated and her breathing was heavy. What has she done to him? All she ever did was love him, and this sorry excuse for a brother always abused her without reason. He was simply born evil, and she wanted him dead. She ran, and as she looked forward, the floors began to crack open and fire began to spit upwards. She began to dash in zig-zagging motion, trying to avoid getting burned. She was exhausted, but if she stopped, he would take advantage of the situation. She looked over her shoulder and saw him running at full speed, with beaming red eyes and a demented grin that scarred her soul. "Come on, this will be fun!" He kept shouting and laughing at her, delighting in following her, and in seeing her vulnerable. "Leave me alone!" She cried back, and she kept running even faster. Suddenly, she saw a wolf silhouette, shining in white glory, in the distance, howling at her. She howled back in sorrow, and just when she was going to reach the wolf, a stone wall appeared from the ground, and made her bump harshly into it, head first. She turned her body to the opposite side, and to her surprise, she saw Turok jumping towards her, about to maul her. "NOOO..ooo..."
"Oooo..."
Inaya opened her eyes abruptly and sat down, gasping for air. As soon as she regained consciousness, she began to cry. She cried with all the might and will she could. She was tired, depressed, and alone. She did not understand why was she so unlucky in life. All she wanted is to be normal like the other wolves, but she was constantly reminded that life did not like her at all. She laid down and curled into a ball, trying to forget the horrible nightmare that she had. She wished her life was different, and in all of her life, she has never felt so alone. Her parents did not love her, her brother was a demon that even after death still haunted her, and all she had was herself, and a lone flower that was in front of her. Even if the valley was filled with red flowers, there was a lone yellow one before her eyes. That's how she felt--separated from the rest of the world, different, and she felt that she was a mistake. Just like this flower was supposed to be red, not yellow. What was it doing there, anyway? Was it there just to remind her the mistake she was? Or was it there to remind her that she was not alone, after all? Inaya did not know at all. She was always confused and tired of life, and her dull eyes reflected what she felt in her soul. She lifted her head and began to look at the area, and as she did she licked her tears that had accumulated in her lips away. She looked at the beautiful valley, filled with blossoming flowers and all she could think of was about that yellow flower. She stood over it and a lone tear escaped her grey eyes. She picked the flower with her mouth and threw it away.
She really felt sad. She does not have any friends and she needed to vent about so many things. Inaya was a mess with four legs and she wanted that to change. She didn't care who, but she just wanted to talk and feel accompanied for once. She wanted to feel what love felt like; it was so foreign to her, so alien. Yet, even if she was so depressed, there was a small ray of hope in her heart, somewhere deep. She just needed to be loved, and that way she could come out of that bubble she had. Inaya wanted someone to be brave enough to pop that bubble. But she felt she wasn't worth it anyway. In hopes of finding someone, she howled. "I feel alone." Just that short message. She was sad and sorrowful.
She just sat down and hoped for the best.
