The Alphess had made herself comfortable in the caverns for awhile, convinced that she could make herself sleep. With a racing mind it was difficult to close her eyelids and drift away for awhile. The femme did not know why she was so tense, other than the small fact that Zakur had not grown for quite some time. She could not help but wonder if Kiddo had put some strange curse upon them all. Muddy orbs gazed around the darkness for a a few minutes, she enjoyed the complete darkness of the area she was in. In the same way the nothingness was frightening. Nothing above nor below, not even her own paws to stare at in confusion. The Mexican femme longed to go visit her father; but he was likely busy with something and did not have time for his beloved daughter. She was beginning to feel unimportant to him, as the quality time he spent with her was diminishing rapidly. There was a time when she spoke with him almost daily, now she was lucky to drag a small conversation from him. 'Do not be so selfish!' she reprimanded herself with a heaving sigh. It was probably a good time to wander back towards her pack a bit, they would not likely find her if she remained hidden in the darkest areas of the Usklhon Caverns.
The caverns made superb dens, but when one wandered too far into them it could become a concern. After all, what did lay inside of the darkest abyss of this place? None of the wolves here knew, but maybe a few of them had heard stories. Paranoia began nipping a her rump, pleading for the female to stand and flee the frightening darkness. Shivers raced across the Alphess's spine, she longed to run away and flee this place. There was no reason for such sudden fear, but it was there and she needed to cope with it. Cautiously rising to her paws, the femme cast an aggressive gaze into the void, not like she could see anything. This was completely foolish for her to suddenly fear an area of her own territory. This land was hers and she needed to stand strong and dominate it, not suddenly turn into a cowardly whelp. Regardless of her justifications, the femme still began a weary walk towards the direction she believed the outside world to be in. She hoped that she had not completely lost her sense of direction from laying in the abyss, and to think that all she wanted was some time to clear her head. A low growl ripped from her muzzle and she spun herself in an agitated circle.
Time ticked by, but Nashira forced herself to remain completely calm. There was nothing else to do but attempt to figure out how the hell she had managed to get herself so lost in her own caverns. Audits flicked back against her skull in annoyance before perking themselves again. Nostrils flared, eager to intake the stale air; alas, she could smell nothing, simply feel the air caress the walls of her nasal passages. With a huff she took a few more steps forward, the Alphess was convinced that this freak out was absolutely nothing and irrational. Sure enough, it was! A glimmer of light winked at her from around a bend and the Mexican femme reprimanded herself vulgarly inside of her head. 'Why did I get all worked up for nothing, there was no reason for me to believe I was lost!' That much was the truth, the Alphess had found herself relaxing in that same spot on an almost daily basis. Shaking particles of dust and dirt from her multi colored pelt, the female brought herself into the midday sunlight. The dens were in the perfect location, with their own natural defenses against invaders. Truthfully, they allowed Nashira to sleep a night only because they kept her family safe. Should they have been anywhere else the poor femme would be receiving significantly less sleep and more thinking time. She slightly dreaded what would happen if she had the opportunity to dwell on things more than she did now - her anxiety would be at extreme levels.
Standing tall and proud, the femme gazed out into The Oriens. This land was hers, even after the few months it had been she could hardly believe it. When searching for War God Hadrian, she could not have imagined this happening. The two now had a some family and she was an Alphess of a pack. Her tail twitched happily a few times, but her lonesome gaze remained far away. Nashira was still a loner, even after becoming the Alphess. Maybe it would never change, perhaps she was always going to be the outcast. She forced a relaxed sigh to part ways from her muzzle, 'I shall call a pack meeting soon, we need to work on increasing our numbers.' At least she had some form of a plan now, it was all a matter of time before things fell perfectly into place. Zakur would become greater than Amar with time, she just needed to have a well executed plan in order to complete such a task. Deep in thought, the Alphess distanced herself from the material world for a few moments. Silently, she longed for someone to break the silence.
