Sunlight danced across her titian hinted coat; reflecting in her mauve shaded eyes. The warm light illuminating the strands of lavendar, lilac, and cerulean pigmentation delicately and elaborately interwined. The sun had rose in a mess of pastel pinks, tangerines, and crimsons. Eidlynn's eyes scanned the grassland, a sea of gold dancing in the breeze. She stepped lightly, moving across the land like she was engaged in a beautiful ballet. It was all so beautiful. She stared at it in awe, everything was mesmerizing almost hypnotic. The gentle breeze whispered in her ears, sharing the sweet songs of birds that roosted in the trees, and the soft faint drumming of waves.
She didn't know where she was going, she was just wondering. She had spent a total year in Anikira already, and she had never felt more at home. The whole island hit her with a strong sense of deja vu. Like she'd been here before--maybe once in a dream.
Yes, coming here in a dream would have been a real treat. Most of her dreams were full of disturbing and dark images. Most of them were dark shadows bearing khaln's face. She had tried her best to get rid of the memories, to bury them in her subconscious, never to re-surface. However, she could still remember every detail of his face. His handsome features, his eyes that seemed to captivate her and hold her hostage. Khaln.
He had been the first wolf she had ever met, and the first one that had ever hurt her. She still couldn't really understand the whole thing: her feelings to him, why he had hurt her. Shaking her head, she attempted to shake the recollections. With no avail.
In order to take a step forward, she'd need to take two steps back. That meant forgiving and forgetting. Two things Eidlynn didn't know if she could do. How do you forget something you've held with you every step of the journey. How do you empty a bottle that you can't seem to break?
