Atoyo just needed to escape for a few hours. The sun had already sunk below the horizon, leaving behind a darkened, seemingly ominous Anikira. During the lit hours of the day, Yahvi had officially created the pack now known as Osani. It had been an intensely stressful experience for the brute, who wasn't used to feeling so exposed in the broad daylight of Nyjoro Hills. He assumed that his mother and sisters were regaining their energy by sleeping somewhere nearby. However, that wasn't where the large black brute was. He had snuck away from the small group of travelers a short time ago. The brute wasn't worried about the three females missing him. He often made these small escapes, and although his mother was occasionally disappointed in the young wolf for being so "foolish," Atoyo didn't care. Yahvi had once told him the legends of the great Zozyr's Glory, and Atoyo was intent on witnessing such beauty and serenity while also feeling a prodigious rush of adrenaline. He was going to climb down the rocky side of the immense cliffs, and nobody was going to stop him.
The moon shone brighter than usual above the dark colored male as he neared Zozyr's Glory, and a myriad of glowing stars surrounded the large, whitish yellow globe. Dark, ghastly clouds were also scattered across the night sky. Four giant paws thudded against the grassy dirt beneath them that was gradually transforming into a hard, rocky floor with little to no greenery thriving there as the canine grew even closer to the cliffs that looked out over the ocean. Every minute or so, he would stop his travels in order to squint his brown orbs and search the area for any stalking enemies, while also perking his audits in order to hear any sudden noises that may belong to a lurking creature. Being alone, Atoyo knew to be extra observant of his surroundings. There was no chance that the brute doubted his fighting and killing capabilities in any way, but it was just the paranoia seeping into his brain. He was, in his mind, the most efficient fighter in his family. The others were females who were each much smaller than he was. Additionally, he was the one who worked the hardest at improving his techniques each and every day. That was what he was planning to do when he finally reached the edge of the continent - he would be practicing balance while in combat tonight.
When the Glory was finally in sight, the male picked up the pace and sprinted to the very edge of the cliff. As he skidded a bit to a complete stop, a few loose pebbles were tossed over the the edge and he watched as they cascaded downwards, bouncing spontaneously off of different ledges and rocks until they finally plummeted into the roaring ocean below. A huge smirk came upon the brute's face, who was imagining the pebbles as one of his many victims. This sparked excitement inside of him, and his body began to tremble not in fear, but in anticipation. He planned on making his way about halfway down the cliff before practicing a few of his favorite fighting strategies on a ledge, testing his focus and balance while also giving him an excuse to leave behind his stressful life for two hours at least. After seeking out a fairly simple path to where he wanted to be, he hopped down to the first rocky ledge. At first, he thought he had felt something shift beneath his weight, but he quickly forced the thought out of his brain and continued down the cliff.
During this time, Atoyo was blessed with something he was not usually given: time to think. His thoughts raced from topic to topic, but he mostly thought about the biggest copetitor in his life right now. This was his sister, Zaida. She was constantly pestering him by indirectly showing off how "wonderful" she was and how much better of a fighter she was than him. A harsh laugh erupted from his mouth, as if any bitch like her was a better fighter than he. How ridiculous. However, the smaller wolfess somehow managed to beat him in sparring sometimes. A small burst of anger erupted inside of him, which caused him to make the wrong footing as he leaped over to yet another ledge. Part of the boulderish thing couldn't withstand the force of his mighty weight, but instead of avoiding it, he unknowingly jumped directly on top of it. The loose rocks fell out from beneath his back legs, and his front paws lashed out at a nearby ledge in hysteria and scrambled to pull himself up. Shaking his head, the brute cleared his thoughts. If he wanted to come out of this training alive, he needed to be totally focused and calm. Slower now, Atoyo continued to descend towards the crashing waves below. He was almost at the ledge that he had found earlier and had abruptly decided that it was the one he would train atop of.
