Trees and grasses flew by the big, light colored male as he made his way deeper into the territory which was now his searching grounds. But he wasn't chasing prey, he was looking for a wolf much like himself. The more he looked and came up empty handed the more his hopes shrank of ever finding his lost family member. This male looking so diligently was named Kenai. He along with his beloved sister, Sydas, came to this island together to find their long lost uncle. Admittedly, Sydas showed more belief in their plan actually working as Kenai was becoming doubtful. However, the pair split up to search more effectively and would meet in the middle in about two days time. He didn't know how he would be able to face Sydas without Kismet in tow. She would be devastated, but he knew his sister well enough to know she wouldn't stop until they found something.
Dark orange eyes constantly moved, looking for signs of someone who might be able to help him. He hasn't spoken to anyone since coming here, but knew it was not a deserted island. Scents of multiple wolves found their way into his nostrils. He wished to meet one, maybe they could make his journey a little more worthwhile by having some piece of information. He shrugged mentally, either way, he had to find Kismet.
He slowed to a walk then came to a stop. He closed his eyes briefly and took a deep breath, carefully noting every scent that came to him. Each was unfamiliar and intriguing. If he came here on better terms he would have loved to explore each of those scents. He opened his eyes once again, alas, this is not the case.
Running water caught his attention and he moved in the direction of its origin. Upon coming to it, he lowered his head and gratefully took several laps of the cold, fresh liquid. Having satisfied his thirst, he moved on at a relaxed trot. Eventually something would turn up. He must be patient.
