As the tears slid down and away, Tchiya felt a sudden urge to thank this kind wolf again, but because there was nothing left to say, she simply stepped a few inches closer and brushed his leg with her tail. She wanted him to know how much she appreciated having a friend like him who didn't judge her for any of her short comings and truly accepted her for who she was. She could only hope that throughout the rest of her life she could find more wolves who treated her the same way. After all, she still felt unsure about the wolves her father had warned her about. Aggressive, unkind wolves with a thirst for blood. She shuddered, feeling the chill ripple throughout her entire body. She prayed with all her might that she would never encounter them, and that her life would move along happily with friends like Kenai at her side.
Her eyes were dry by then, and she glanced at the male, who had been quiet for a while. "Where is your sister, by the way? Do you know where we will be meeting her?" Based on his enthusiastic description of the young female, Tchiya was sure that she would enjoy getting to meet her. She wondered what their reunion would be like. Kenai spoke so highly of Sydas, and they sounded like they were extremely close... it must be hard enough for them to be apart, so what would it be like when they were together again? Tchiya smiled a bit at the thought. She hoped she could witness it. It would be a beautiful thing.
Coming back to the present, she tilted her head in her friend's direction and waited for his reply. She was sure he would be anxious to see her, what with his comment about the cold - "Speaking of which, I don't think you have too much to worry about. It depends on where you are in Anikira, of course, but winters here never drop to anything extreme. Some snow, maybe a couple of windy nights, nothing to really fret about." She assured him. "I'm sure that Sydas will be just fine."
