'Ello Folks!
This isn't an official absence thread, but I'm putting this up as an early warning for any drops in activity for the next few weeks.
Most of you by now will have taken most of your finals or finished them. Right now the bulk of my A-Levels (British exams in a British college) are about a week away, five are coming up in that week, followed with another two after that and one final one afterwards. This is also my last chance to get the required grades for Uni. So if I muck up with them I will be left in a difficult position. My first two exams (maths resits) felt alright so as long as I get some good hours in I should be fine. These will be popping up in June.
Now, starting in Early July, I will be going to Africa for the first time in 6-7 years to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's tallest mountain. I have been training for this over the past year and raising money for charity at the same time. After the 8-10 day climb up and down the mountain, I am off on safari and then visiting the project my chosen charity is running there. So I'm on the continent for almost the whole of July.
Because of this, my activity will be up and down between active to almost nothing at all. However I will still try and get on when I can. Even if it is just to say how I am going, I might even be able to do it in Africa depending on the internet. And after I get back from Africa, my activity will be back up again!
So I will be still be around, but my activity might crop massively for a while. I will do an official absence thread soon enough, proberly before the trip to Africa.
I will get a reply or two on soon and might open up the Audas-Airilla thread, we will see what happens.
To any who got this far, cheers for reading the whole thing! Sorry if it's a little too long but it's proberly the best way to explain it.
