She ran as fast as she could, not because she was running from something and not because she was running to something. She was running just to run, simple as that. She loved the burning sensation in her legs, the sound of the wind howling past her, and the way she felt like she conquer the world. Her long legs carried her fast and in the cover of darkness without a moon, she was near to invisible. Her steps were all but completely silent and her breaths were steady and calm despite being quick. She lived for moments like this. As she reached the Nyjoro Hills, she continued to run, going uphill then downhill over and over. She was starting to grow tired but she refused to slow down until she reached the largest hill in the distance and was at the top.
It took her about thirty minutes to reach the large hill she was going after and about fifteen to reach the top. Once she let herself slow to a stop, her breathing quickened and her legs burned even more but she wasn't complaining. She enjoyed the feeling of power she got after she ran. Once she caught her breath, she walked around the top of the hill and decided that it would do for the night so, walking back to the center she let out a loud harmonious howl hoping Zitao would answer before she laid down with her tail draped over her. She tried to sleep but she was only physically tired, her mind was wide awake and spinning.
To pass the time, she decided she'd go for a hunt and settle her now growling stomach. She padded lightly down the hill and instantly picked up the scent of a nearby grazing deer. She moved quietly, crouching down and sticking to the side of the hill. She crept up quietly behind the young doe and waited to see if she saw she was being hunted. When it was clear the doe was still oblivious, she ran again as fast as she could chasing the animal for only a few minutes before pouncing and bringing it down. She gripped it's throat in her teeth and shook her head, only letting go once she saw that it had taken it's last breath. She wasted no time tearing into one of it's legs, growling hungrily.
