Harper and her siblings, Micah and Octavia, were born of extenuating circumstances at best. Their conception, though not altogether violent, was certainly unconventional. Their father, Sebastian comes from a pack where he was chastised for his sexuality. Their mother, Amara grew up to despise male wolves. She never wanted pups, but she got them anyway. In the heat of mating season, their brief passions became the three pups Amara now will raise on her own. Although Sebastian is occasionally present in the pups’ lives, they will essentially grow up without a father figure. Harper’s brother, Micah will most likely always be treated like an omega due to nothing more than his gender. Her sister Octavia has not only had the misfortune of inheriting their mother’s mind bipolar personality, but also has been cursed with being the runt of the litter. Because of this, and the matriarchal ranks that make up Valyn, Harper has a great chance of being able to rise to whatever position she chooses to pursue.

Personality:
Harper is what few wolves are these days; she is inherently good. Even with the world being as dark and unfair as it is, Harper can see the light in everything and everyone. She notices things around her that others often overlook. Everything from the transformation of caterpillar to butterfly, to the tiny drops of dew that collect on the blades of grass in the early dusk of morning — it’s all cause for wonder in the young femme. She takes pride in seeing what others find insignificant, and she makes it her mission to find the good in everyone she meets. Harper firmly believes that every wolf has goodness in his or her heart. She does not believe that wolves are truly evil, simply misunderstood or unloved. Her willingness to give other wolves second chances may make her seem naïve, but the young wolf always knows what she is doing.
Despite her soft nature and bubbly personality, Harper is not a delicate girl. She is tough and headstrong, unafraid to voice her opinions. Her stubbornness goes hand in hand with her beliefs about other wolves, and that makes Harper very unlikely to give up on others. She is especially protective of family, and although she hates attacking other wolves, she will do anything to keep her siblings and mother safe. That being said, Harper will always try to talk herself out of a situation before turning to violence. In her opinion, violence is always unnecessary and only leads to hatred and anger.
Because of her caring nature, Harper and her brother, Micah, get along well. The young brute does not get treated with much respect within the pack ranks, and Harper always goes out of her way to remind him that he is special. In fact, Harper is fascinated with males, and somewhat disagrees with some of the beliefs of her pack. She finds the difference between males and females to be very little and thinks the two genders should be treated with more equality.
