She pictured what his parents looked like: swirled coats and topaz orbs sparkling at their son, Audas. They must have been proud of him as he grew up to be the handsome male he was today. Do they live?...was the next question but everything was so close to perfect, she avoided that query at this time.
The next minute and she was blushing at his compliment of her coat. She never thought anything of it, it was so plain to her. His disagreement made her stop for a moment. He seemed sincere in his statement, especially with the bashful expression on his face. Even commenting on her eyes......she felt special.
The biggest grin crossed her face as his whisper reached her ears. She glanced over to him to see wink come her way. She never saw him smile like that, like his was completely relaxed with her.
"It's been ages since someone has called me that." She beamed, "You're wonderful." Leaning in slightly to bump her shoulder with his, the incredibly happy Nymph reached out to gently nip his ear. He seemed to know how to lift her spirits even when she was trying to so that for him. They balanced each other out, which is what good friends did.
She was rocketed back to the feeling of being a pup and all she wanted to play hide and seek. Once the rain stopped, she planned to ask Audas if he would indulge in a game. He would probably think she was crazy, but she loved it.
She looked up at the sky to see how much linger this rain would last, how long until she could propose their game. The sky still looked angry but it's temper seemed like it was less than before.
Looking back to her companion, she said: "Any childhood nicknames for you?" If not, she would be surprised, families always called each other different names. Being an affectionate female, she bestowed titles on others she was close to.
