On this particular eve, the breeze that ran its fingers through her matted pale locks was fiercefully chilled. Winter had truly taken course within the past couple of days, enough to make one feel as though their blood had frozen within their veins... Although she was icy enough without such a thing. Her heart and become frozen long, long ago. No longer able to feel the emotions that the other mortals had. Love, care, fear, it had all been washed away. Leaving behind nothing but a mal-nourished, matted empty shell.
She wasn't always like this though. She once knew these feelings. She once longed to feel the warmth of another, to feel the body heat of two living entities dancing together, entwining, becoming one. She once cared about those close to her, she even cared occasionally for others that she barely knew. She feared being left alone in the world, with no one to turn to.... All of this was gone, stripped away from her as her sanity slowly left..
She wasn't entirely alone though, no... She still had her. Although it was not a being that could be seen by another... It was merely a voice that embedded itself with her skull. She dictated Fetisha's every move... She was a prisoner within her own body. A puppet controlled by strings. For ever damned to live in her own personal hell. Have you ever felt as though you could not control your own body? You were nothing more then a spectator? Hell doesn't even begin to describe it.
The sun had long tucked itself in for the night. The gray clouds littered the blackened sky, covering the full moon above. Leaving a low light to be cast upon the winter wonderland rather scarcely. Snow flakes flurried down lightly upon the white lands, thickening the blanket that cover the ground where lush green blades were once visible. Life here seemed dead.. Nothing could be seen for miles and miles. A perfect place for one as bitter as she.
Her body moved with the delicate grace of a preying feline. Each step taken carefully with such caution to avoid plummeting over the edge of the mountains trail. Her body twist and turned to keep her balance. Thick white banner were slightly sway behind her as it helped with the balancing at task. Miss matched orbs would land upon what seemed to be a mouth of a cave. Just large enough to fit her own species. That single tower that adorned her crown would shift forward. Inhaling the cold air briskly through sand paper nostrils. She could smell nothing, no lingering scents or markers to indicate that this particular cave had been claimed by another. And so slowly she would move, entering what seemed to be a safe haven for the night, before the snow fall outside would turn into an unforgiving blizzard. Only time would tell if she truly was alone within this large belly that rested within the mountains side.
