It seemed like he had been travelling for ages. Deangelo had always done an impeccable job of hiding himself when they were children and nothing had changed. Phoenix had followed his brother's trail up until it had run cold and now he couldn't figure out just where his hot-tempered brother had gotten to. But Phoenix was not his brother's keeper and although his initial plan was to find him he figured he would probably be better left alone. They were well past old enough to be out on their own and if Deangelo wanted to be found he would show himself. Perhaps things were better off this way. Their sibling rivalry had gotten out of hand and Phoenix preferred if they didn't have ill feelings toward one another. So instead of searching out his brother he had instead gone his own way to find his own path in life. He had scoped out the different packs but none of them quite sparked his interest like the notorious female pack had. He had heard rumors about it when he was younger and only now did he plan to seek them out. However when he had come across their territory their scent was all but trampled by behemoth of a pack known as Kairos. This was when Phoenix altered his course entirely. He bolted from their boarders and headed off in the opposite direction, determined to figure out just where this pack had taken off to. Different hear say from wolves led him toward a land known as Kamari.
The land that he strolled through was one that he had never seen before. There were different fragmented pieces of wood and ash strewn everywhere and the trees seemed to lean in overhead, shrouding him completely. This would be a perfect place for prey to hide and he made a mental note to revisit here later on. He moved forward, making his way further into the territory. The scent markings were strong which was an encouraging sign that there was a thriving pack within these lands. Phoenix however did not travel too far within their lands out of respect. He stood with his head held high and his pale green eyes searching for life. It wouldn't take long for the wind to carry his scent to them and so he waited patiently. Soon he sat on his haunches, unafraid of being attacked. Phoenix had learned over the years how to defend himself and counter act attacks so if it came down to it he would have no trouble of defending himself. His eyes continued to search for whomever would greet him but otherwise he did not move a muscle and instead waited patiently, hopeful to be accepted within their ranks.
