Stark walked slowly along the banks of the rushing expanse of water. It had been an interesting few months wandering the ever shifting lands. From the belching fires of the volcano to the south to the newly added expanse of ice and snow in the north. Plus the multitude of lands that seemed to have sprung into existence between those places. The land had been on the move as had Stark. Once he had felt the shaking of the lands he had moved towards it ever curious to see what could have caused such a commotion. Apparently the land had up and decided to rearrange its living situation and had not deemed it necessary to warn certain living creatures of its decision.
Stark snorted in annoyance at the memories of the ash and heat of the volcanic lands to the south. It had been much less than pleasant to move through those areas. He had felt like he was going to have to drown himself just to get the twice damned ash smell from his fur. Hard to show ones colors and looks off when one looked like he had rolled in a lightening struck tree for a week. Never the less he had finally gotten the gray washed from his fur and was back to his normally shining and sparkling self. Of course not even apocalyptic events could damper his mind or wits. He had played more than a few games of hunter and hunter with packs as he had traveled. Never a problem for one as land smart as he was though.
Then there had been the frigid northern lands. Those had been more interesting for himself. So many amazing expanses of reflective surfaces. If he hadn't had such indomitable will power he may have been lost forever gazing at the reflections of such a fine example of wolf. But alas he had to leave those white struck lands and head back south. He had passed many new packs and the lands thrown into chaos because of the eruptions. Eventually he found himself back in what one may call his home. Since he had joined the pack Ultoris he had not been around to much. Meeting very few of his pack mates and generally keeping everything which was his amazing personality to himself. But he felt with his return it would be a good time to finally end his selfish need to keep to himself.
Each paw placed brought him further into the lands they lived in and each step made his stride stronger. His head raised proudly as he moved and watched the land around him carefully. Even in friendly territory his guard never dropped. After all it had been betrayal that had in time turned his own pack into casualties on the field of battle. His ears rotated swiftly picking out each noise and identifying it. His paws and eyes moved feeling the lands and letting him know his next step. Ever aware of all that was around him the proud warrior moved forward into the lands of Ultoris.
