The time had come, Gailleann lowered her rump to the ground, poised and silent for a moment. The wild storm of those cloud filled eyes glittered with nervous excitement. Today, if they came, would be the day she could possibly have a home. For the first time in the whole of her life she would have a place where she belonged. Not a simple roaming gypsy with no roots, no ties. It was a bittersweet dream as it was one shared with her sister. How she wished Dioltas could be here to experience this moment, but perhaps it was a boon that she wasn't. For all Gailleann knew the alphess could deny her. While the flame pelted female had enough confidence in her ability to hunt and provide in a steady manner, this wolfess would not know that. All she would see was a femme with a sunset colored pelt, not an easy thing to hide in such terrain that seemed to make up the vast majority of these claimed lands.
Would the leader of Saphira's pack see beyond that? Would she look deeper before making her judgement? Or would she be turned away? If she were given permission to join, would she be allowed to continue her search? These worries and a dozen more filtered through her mind, unending, like a horde of troublesome flies pestering her incessantly.
A deep breath was taken, stabilizing her troubled heart, before releasing it on a heavy sigh. Those molten grey gems closed briefly before snapping open. There was only one way to settle the issue. Without any more hesitation Leann tipped her cream and fire muzzle to the skies taking a second deep breath she allowed her voice to ring out in a long sweetly toned howl calling for the newly befriended Saphira, and the packs alphess. The message clear, telling the pale female touched by the sun and her leader, that Leann was here, as promised. Would she come? Would she bring the alphess? Would she be as happy to see the flame brushed fae, as Gailleann would be to see her? Or would the alphess come alone? Time....It was all a matter of time. That summoning song ended on a high note, muzzle dropped allowing her sleek skull to tip on its pedestal, grey eyes scanning the lands. Twin soldiers twitching every which direction seeking any sound of approaching paws.
